About Lisa

Both my husband and I are residents of Montana. With over 18 years experience in residential real estate and home building, this cabin is a reflection of everything that we are passionate about which is building quality high end homes that will stand the test of time. No expense was spared in the construction of this cabin. We wanted to build a place that was close to Bozeman but provided the perfect weekend get away for family and friends. With teenage children we are busy traveling the state for sporting events so we wanted other families to enjoy it since we cannot. It will not disappoint!!

Lisa purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Lisa chose West Yellowstone

A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a private cabin retreat that is like no other. This ten acre site is home to almost every animal species that Montana is known for. It is the perfect place to unwind after a long day in the park or a day in the canyon. It provides a place of solitude away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. It is very private with lots of acreage to explore. Hebgen Lake sits right outside the back door. It would be hard to replicate this experience anywhere else in West Yellowstone. If you are looking for a private retreat, look no further.

Absolutely Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

Great place for a family vacation. Our kids loved the property and with the lake being right there, they were entertained all week. The house is special in a lot of ways, the old reclaimed timbers and wood are remarkable. We will definitely find time to stay here again.

Wilderness Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

My family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) spent a wonderful week on this property In June 2017. After speaking with the owner on our initial booking, we were prepared and looked forward to a week without tech, phones and such. Don't get me wrong, this place is decked out with beautiful furnishings, linens and the best appliances. It has gorgeous surroundings on a pristine lake, but that is what we wanted. . . Nature. If you are going on vacation to get all the comforts of home than this is not the place for you, but if you want an adventure in the wilds of Montana as part of your Yellowstone experience you won't be disappointed!

This cabin is truly an ideal vacation spot!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I absolutely loved our week here. The cabin is comfy and gorgeous with a well equipped kitchen and lots of games .

We thoroughly enjoyed the canoe and kayak as well as the views, the lake and the outdoor fireplace.

Finding the cabin for the first time is no joke--do NOT try this at night !

West Yellowstone is a quaint town and not hard to get to once you have gotten the lay of the land. This is one of the most peaceful vacation spots we have ever stayed in and simply could not recommend it enough.

Lisa had thought of everything to make your stay perfect: bug spray, bear spray, firewood, linens, even lotion for the dry climate!

Thanks so much for an amazing week !

BETTER THAN ADVERTISED!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

  • 5 of 5

Gorgeous rustic cabin appearance yet only 6 years new. Ceilings and walls made from wood imported from an old Idaho barn(Beautiful). Located in the middle of the forest on your own private cove of the trout filled lake located on property. Canoe and kayak for use at no charge. Big indoor fireplace, outdoor fireplace and plenty of wood. Modern Kitchen with granite countertops and all tools a chef needs to utilize 6 burner gas stove, huge refrigerator/freezer and outdoor grill( propane tank filled before each new arrival). We cooked breakfast and dinner every day here. Fantastic Master BR and bath with a very comfy bed. 2 twin beds in large loft. Large front load washer and dryer. A Bald Eagle nest located very nearby gave us awesome sightings on property daily along with a Doe and Fawn. West Yellowstone entrance is 15 minutes away, 5 minutes once you are out of forest and off dirt roads. We had 7 great nights.
