We loved the Inn and the amazing hospitality from Len. The house was very clean, very large, and extremely comfortable. There were only four of us, but there was room for many more. Each room was very cozy and comfortable and there was a very nice kitchen. The living room had a very large TV with drawers full of movies to choose from. The top floor had a ping pong table that brought us together for some friendly competition. There was a nice fire pit in the yard with plenty of wood. We enjoyed sitting around it, talking and making smores. We spent some time hiking Mt. Katahdin and then rafting on the Penobscot river, we had a blast! I would highly recommend this place and if I am ever in the area again, I know that I will be staying there.
We celebrated my sister's 50th birthday with a Sibling Turning 50 celebration weekend at this inn a couple years back----longer ago than the arrival date I used due to the calendar limitations. We signed the paper guest book at the time, but when I searched the inn today and saw a guest book, I just wanted to say I remember our visit distinctly and we had such a wonderful stay. It was a Columbus Day weekend, and the foliage in the area was just gorgeous; the Inn lovely and most comfortable in every way. Innkeeper Leonard Ramsay was fabulous and his bread gifts delicious. We hiked, shopped, and had our meals at "home" so we could be as noisy as we wanted!! So, a belated electronic thank you to Faith and Ted for the Sharp family stay at your home. We still talk about what a fabulous 50th we had for Trudee!! Thank you again.
Thank you is not adequate enough! The accommodations were lovely, cozy, beautiful! The best get away, best kept secret. We will definitely visit again. Our host, Leonard was gracious and very welcoming. Thank you!
We stayed here for our wedding weekend and it slept 10 adults with room to spare. Ted and Faith are wonderful to rent from. They made special decorations for our wedding, which we really appreciated, and their housekeeper, Len, left us fresh baked loaves of bread! Such a great place to host your friends for a special occasion. I truly wish we could have stayed longer. I will also add, the facilities are fully modern and in ship-shape, so we didn't run out of hot water for showers on the big day!

Thanks to Ted, Faith and Len, we had a wonderful stay here in early October 2014. It is a beautiful home complete with tons of modern amenities while maintaining a classic farmhouse feel. There was more room than we knew what to do with. I loved the nice tub and great selection of DVDs, my husband enjoyed the fire pit, and our entire family had several memorable nights in front of the gas fireplace--and playing the nice assortment of games provided!
Many thanks for a wonderful time!
