SPECIAL RATES THROUGH JUNE 2018
What’ll it be this morning? A round of golf at the Maggie Valley Country Club, or maybe a scenic drive with the family to ooh and aah at the sunset-colored fall foliage on the Blue Ridge Parkway? Some boating on Lake Junaluska, or snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Resort, followed by a mug of cocoa in the hot tub?
Maybe another cup of coffee by the crackling fire while you think it over. This is your vacation, after all, and at Everview, you’ve got all the time in the world.
1. Because there’s nothing like the Great Smoky Mountains in the fall, and Everview has 360-degree vistas from its two-story back and front decks. Because you’re only minutes from the slopes in winter and a short drive from Sliding Rock--nature’s funnest waterslide--in the summer.
2. Because our 4-bedroom cabin’s open layout and smartly designed master suites give you family time when you want it, privacy when you don’t.
3. And because you don’t need to overthink your vacation. Everview comes stocked with everything you need to feel at home, from shampoo and conditioner to olive oil and laundry detergent.
Wake up in one of TWO main-level master suites, each equipped with its own full bath and luxurious king beds made up with the coziest Egyptian cotton sheets. Start your morning with breakfast on the open-concept main level, with its stone fireplace, breakfast bar, and formal dining room.
Spend the day exploring the great outdoors or shopping in town, and unwind in a rocking chair on the back deck with a glass of wine as the stars twinkle into view.
By evening, leave the lower level to the kids. The downstairs den has its own fireplace, books, games, and an HDTV to keep them entertained for hours before they retreat to the 2 lower-level bedrooms: one with a queen bed, the other with two twins.

About Marilyn Butler
We find that many of our guests are extended families, which is how we love to travel ourselves! The layout and spaciousness at Everview gives folks an opportunity to spend time gathered around the kitchen or grilling out on the deck and helps build wonderful memories together in a gorgeous setting. When you want to get out, there is no shortage of attractions and activities the whole family can enjoy year-round. We have owned our home a number of years now and still haven't visited all of the places of interest nearby! Many of our guests return year after year to Everview. They know they will find everything they need here - they just need to pack clothes, pick up a few grocery items, and enjoy the comforts of their home away from home. Like having their own vacation property... but without the expense! Even though we live in Florida and only get to greet guests by phone or email, they have been some of the nicest people we have ever encountered. Hotels can't offer the warmth and comfort an actual home provides. We want our guests to feel like family and hope that by making their stay as stress-free as possible, they will consider us a part of theirs too.

Wonderful location! Wonderful host! Wonderful home
Every amenity was thought of and the house lay out is great for a group ....we had 7 people. And 3 generations + we got to bring our four legged family too !!!
Very comfortable with lots of room!!
We rented this property for a wedding, and it was perfect! Owner had great communication and the house was very comfortable! Beware leaving on a Sunday because none of the trash places are open. We didn’t have a lot so it wasn’t a problem but could be for others!
Thank you for sharing your experience at Everview. We hope future guests will understand that the benefits of staying in our beautiful mountain home with so many amenities far outweighs the minor inconvenience of having to take their bags to the nearby trash site. Garbage trucks are not able to navigate the mountain roads, therefore it is something all residents and visitors alike must deal with. Our cleaning crew can have someone pick it up for a small fee if guests do not dispose of it before check-out.
Hopefully, you'll be able to spend more time on your next visit and maybe get to use the hot tub!
We had an amazing time with our two families! Plenty of space, amenities and storage for our stuff.
Thanks, Angela! Glad you enjoyed it. Come back anytime.
We loved our stay
The home is immaculate and the views are so beautiful. Marilyn the owner is super responsive and accessible. We will look forward to returning.
Great place to stay with amazing views!
My girlfriends and I ( 6 people) stayed at the property for a long weekend. The drive from the main street to the house was very pretty. The views were amazing on both, the front and back of the house. The house was spacious and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had all the basics to make your stay easy. Plenty outside space to enjoy the views and for children to play. We saw several wild bunnies enjoying the grass and playing around. The house has a double garage, which was great to leave the items we did not need inside the house and to park the car when we returned after dark. The neighborhood was very quiet however we did not feel isolated inside the mountains, which was very important to us for obvious reasons. The drive from the house to the grocery store and local restaurants was easy (15 minutes). There was also a gas station as soon as you exit the property road. We also visited the Biltmore in Asheville, 30 minutes drive from the property. The owner was very attentive and answered all our questions promptly. We had a wonderful time at your house. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us!
Wonderful house and awesome view!
The house was a great greataway for three couples! Plenty of space - well furnished. Convenient to Waynesville. Marilyn was awesome to work with!

Also, close by are Lake Junaluska, Hendersonville, Brevard, Black Mountain, Bryson City and Balsam. If you golf, there are numerous golf courses in the area. If antiquing or shopping is your game, you’ve come to the right place. There are restaurants in Waynesville and the surrounding areas that will please any type of palate. If you like to gamble, you don’t need Vegas - we’ve got Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, presenting fabulous shows and outstanding gambling facilities. You can go hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, fishing, tubing, snow skiing or waterfall watching. In the fall, you can be a 'leaf-looker'. For the kids, there is Santa Land, The Fun Factory, and the Great Smoky Mountains.
