What’ll it be this morning? A round of golf at the Maggie Valley Country Club, or maybe a scenic drive with the family to ooh and aah at the sunset-colored fall foliage on the Blue Ridge Parkway? Some boating on Lake Junaluska, or snowboarding at Cataloochee Ski Resort, followed by a mug of cocoa in the hot tub?
Maybe another cup of coffee by the crackling fire while you think it over. This is your vacation, after all, and at Everview, you’ve got all the time in the world.
1. Because there’s nothing like the Great Smoky Mountains in the fall, and Everview has 360-degree vistas from its two-story back and front decks. Because you’re only minutes from the slopes in winter and a short drive from Sliding Rock--nature’s funnest waterslide--in the summer.
2. Because our 4-bedroom cabin’s open layout and smartly designed master suites give you family time when you want it, privacy when you don’t.
3. And because you don’t need to overthink your vacation. Everview comes stocked with everything you need to feel at home, from shampoo and conditioner to olive oil and laundry detergent.
Wake up in one of TWO main-level master suites, each equipped with its own full bath and luxurious king beds made up with the coziest Egyptian cotton sheets. Start your morning with breakfast on the open-concept main level, with its stone fireplace, breakfast bar, and formal dining room.
Spend the day exploring the great outdoors or shopping in town, and unwind in a rocking chair on the back deck with a glass of wine as the stars twinkle into view.
By evening, leave the lower level to the kids. The downstairs den has its own fireplace, books, games, and an HDTV to keep them entertained for hours before they retreat to the 2 lower-level bedrooms: one with a queen bed, the other with two twins.
CLOSE TO EVERYTHING IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA
Planning activities for a group can be a challenge, but not at Everview, which is nestled into the mountains of Western North Carolina, just outside of Waynesville. Foodies can eat their way through nearby Asheville, just 30 minutes away, where each restaurant is better than the last and a new craft brewery seems to crop up every week. History buffs are only 30 miles from the awe-inspiring Biltmore Estate. And thrill-seekers are perfectly positioned to explore the region’s best mountain biking, downhill skiing, zip-lining, white water rafting, boating and more.
And did we mention there are five golf courses within 12 miles of the house? Or just stick close to Waynesville for a Main Street, USA experience -- we’ve got a whole list of our favorite local spots to share with you when arrive. With eye-popping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Everview puts the excitement of Western NC at your fingertips.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me via telephone (786-412-0912) or email (firstname.lastname@example.org). I would love to help make your trip to Western North Carolina the best you have ever experienced!
We find that many of our guests are extended families, which is how we love to travel ourselves! The layout and spaciousness at Everview gives folks an opportunity to spend time gathered around the kitchen or grilling out on the deck and helps build wonderful memories together in a gorgeous setting. When you want to get out, there is no shortage of attractions and activities the whole family can enjoy year-round. We have owned our home a number of years now and still haven't visited all of the places of interest nearby!
Many of our guests return year after year to Everview. They know they will find everything they need here - they just need to pack clothes, pick up a few grocery items, and enjoy the comforts of their home away from home. Like having their own vacation property... but without the expense!
Even though we live in Florida and only get to greet guests by phone or email, they have been some of the nicest people we have ever encountered. Hotels can't offer the warmth and comfort an actual home provides. We want our guests to feel like family and hope that by making their stay as stress-free as possible, they will consider us a part of theirs too.

This area of North Carolina is absolutely gorgeous any time of year. We love to visit and want to share the experience with others who want to get away from the grind of daily life and take some time to just enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds Everview.
No matter where you are in the house, you will be able to gaze out a door or window and just say ...ahhhhh. The views and neighborhood are absolutely magnificent. Doing the dishes will not seem like a chore anymore when you see what's beyond the window by the sink.
We've supplied you with the many conveniences you expect to find at home, so that you can spend most of your stay for its intended purpose. And when you finally get a chance to relax on the rockers, you'll forget your troubles and feel like you've experienced a spa treatment.
We had a wonderful time, your home was everything and then some. It was clean, neat, and in a great location for doing all the area attractions. I am looking forward to doing it again next year. The neighborhood was safe, quite and upscale. You provided everything one could want from the hair dryers to the wine opener. Thanks for letting us share your beautiful home. If any one would like to contact me with reference to my above comments to help them determine if this is the right rental for them please do so.
All the basic needs were there was us. The only thing extra we had to get were some toilet paper and trash bags. The place is really cozy and feels like home. I would definitely go back when I get the chance!
Very spacious, more than we expected.149.00 a night is a steal on this property. The owner was so helpful with our needs.
Just got home a few days ago from a week at your beautiful home. I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed our stay. This home is everything a large family (or 2) could want in a place to stay in Western North Carolina. Between the Apple Tree in the backyard, the 5 horses just behind, fireflies at night for the kids to chase, cows (and I'm pretty sure a black bear) seen far in the distance from the back deck, the home alone is perfect for a getaway. The 8 of us (4 adults, 4 kids) were able to take advantage of everything this home had to offer, including great nights grilling on the back deck before finishing the night with a bottle of wine and some good music sitting on rocking chairs outside staring up at the stars (no light pollution out here!). And convenient to pretty much everything we wanted to do, from seeing the Biltmore mansion, to Pisgah Forest (and the Great Sliding Rock), Cherokee, Maggy Valley, etc.
We've never been to North Carolina and this was kind of an "impulse buy" vacation but it was so worth it! We can't wait to come back again soon.
Great owner, so accessible, anyone that is thinking of Western North Carolina should spend time at this home (except when we want to stay there again!).
Thank you thank you!
The property at Everview was very nice. The house was clean and comfortable for 4 adults and two young children. The owners have taken steps for a child friendly rental house. A high chair, gate for the steps, and kids books, games, and DVDs are provided in the house. Nice spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Two bedrooms on main floor, walk in level, and two more on the lower basement level. Very large kitchen and family room area with all you need to cook meals there. A nice propane grill, with spare tank, is on the nice deck. The deck is shaded almost all day, but then you can watch the sunset in the evening from a great vantage point. Horses, cows, and rabbits are abundant near the house and surrounding farms. The property is just off a good paved road about 20 minutes outside of Waynesville. Very quiet and nice one street development on a ridge top. This is a very nice property and the owners are very responsive to questions and check in procedures. I would highly consider a return booking to this property for Waynsesville/Maggie Valley area. Gary H.
We had a marvelous stay at this beautiful home. The setting was exquisite! We had our daughter and grand daughter and our daughter’s in-laws with us. We all hated to leave. My husband is a Pastor in the United Methodist Church and we come up to the Jurisdictional Conference at Lake Junaluska every 4 years. However, since staying at your home, we may make it an annual trip!
My husband and I and some of our extended family rented this property for my brother's wedding. We had a great experience and no complaints whatsoever about the property or the homeowner. Marilyn made everything super easy. The home has beautiful views all the way around and is ideally located about 40 minutes from Asheville. We would definitely go back!
