With its colonial grandeur, romantic grounds and sweeping views of a landscape unchanged by the passage of time - Bristowe Farm, a historical circa 1861 lovingly restored homestead will ensure a country retreat experience that will create life long memories."
What an incredible way to spend Christmas and New Years at such a spectacular property.
The Lawsons Creek makes for an amazing natural swimming hole! Perfect for Summer.
Built by the Lawson family in 1861, Bristowe Farm and homestead is a significant historic location within the Mudgee region. As one of the three pioneers of the Mudgee region, William Lawson is known for surveying the first European crossing west over the Blue Mountains
Bristowe Farm is constructed of stone and weatherboard and situated overlooking the property which comprises approximately 48 hectares. Situated approximately 28 kilometres from Mudgee and adjoining the Village of Lue, Bristowe Farm is a fine and beautiful property. The homestead has five bedrooms, study, two bathrooms, sitting room with superb stone feature wall, formal dining room, an exterior alfresco area, a true "country" kitchen and family room. Set amid the beautiful established gardens is a separate stone laundry and restored traditional outhouse "dunny".
The land is of gentle undulation with the permanent Lawson Creek running through the property.
Add to the beauty of Bristowe Farm approx. 10 hectares of established Shiraz trellised vines.
Indeed a unique historical district property.
Whole house access, landscaped garden, orchards (help yourselves to seasonal stone fruit and figs), the creek, and plenty of paddocks and land to explore.
No access to any locked cupboards, desks or gates. Strictly no access to locked garages and sheds.
No motorbikes to be ridden on the property. Penalties will apply. If you're in the region for motocross you can leave your motorbikes at the Louee Enduro and Motocross Complex lockup facility at night.
