Cute cozy cottage with a beautiful lake view!
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we could need. Waking up to a beautiful lake view was so peaceful and we enjoyed the calm and quiet that this cottage provided. We went to the UP for a color tour and it was well worth the drive. The winding drive back to the lake was amazing and full of color. We would definitely stay here again!
Property was very well maintained. I loved the multiple buildings, especially the little playhouse
What an enjoyable place - everything about it makes you feel as though you were home. We played board games with A LOT of laughs, enjoyed mornings on the deck with coffee, swimming, fishing, canoeing, feeding the ducks, cooking on the grill and bonfire's at night. By the way the fire pit in the picture is not what is there now, it is a beautiful brick in the ground one off the back patio. It was so nice to get away from technology and truly enjoy nature and my kids. Thank you for a wonderful experience we are hoping to enjoy it again.
The cabin was perfect, very clean and spacious for two couples.
Charming cottage on pristine West Bass Lake. Weather and fishing were above average!
We had a beautiful week on Bass Lake. Thank you for the use of your charming cottage. Please consider new mattresses or foam egg crate toppers for comfort while sleeping. Paper products (toilet paper) lasted 4 days. We didn’t find Kleenex or paper towels and supplied our own. The drain in the sauna is extremely slow and we accumulated an inch of water before we were done showering. We raked the swimming area and removed a five gallon pail of decomposed materials (the sand feels so much nicer).
I am glad you enjoyed your stay and have decided to come back next year. In the future if you have a problem such as the sauna drain please contact us and we will fix it immediately. As soon as we read your review my husband went over and fixed the drain. As for the beds they are fairly new and are not ready to be replaced. Lastly, we try and supply enough paper products to get you started at the cabin in case you arrive late and haven’t had time to visit the grocery store. Each renter uses different supplies so we supply only the basics.
Very clean. Beautiful view! Great fishing and so quiet which is exactly what my hubby and i needed.
Glad you enjoyed your stay!
Peaceful and beautiful
The cottage and lake were delightful, and the sauna was awesome! We saw loons, eagles, and ducks. Beautiful place with a super clean, comfortable cottage.
