I recently (1 & 2 January 2018) stayed at the South Arm Luxury Loft with my sister and her family and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a few days away. The accommodation was clean, as you would expect, but it was a few extra touches that made the difference. There was fresh milk and butter in the fridge, a wheel of brie and a box of crackers, some basic condiments and some fresh bread. There were even some fresh eggs from the hens on the property and some bacon in the fridge to have with the beautiful eggs. These are seemingly small things, but made us feel welcome and meant we could relax as soon as we arrived as we had what we needed for a meal without scouting the area for a supermarket or store.
As well as these little welcoming touches, the bed linen was high quality so the luxury label really applied! The towels were fluffy and absorbent as well as plentiful. The bedrooms were all reasonably large, with built in wardrobes and luggage racks (like the ones they have in hotels). There was a little cupboard in the living room with some beach towels, so we could keep the bath towels clean, as well as some tennis rackets and balls so we could use the tennis court.
The local general store is small, but has the essentials and was very reasonably priced. We had dinner at the local club one night and the food was great! The locals were friendly and we felt welcome everywhere we went.
Overall, there was a great deal of thoughtfulness in the setup of the loft, and consideration of the needs of guests. I will stay there again, it was great.
Thank you very much for the review - we'll pass it on to P&J they'll be delighted! You are welcome back anytime. Warmest Regards, J&J
