Stunning architect designed home in prime location with outstanding views of Mallacoota Inlet, from The Narrows to Gabo Island. For holiday let is a self-contained part of the house with its own living room, two bedrooms (one with queen bed and the other with two single beds which can be converted to a kingsize on request), a bathroom and a multi-function room with kitchenette.
The main living room and both bedrooms open directly on to a north facing deck with 180 degree views of the Inlet around to the ocean. The multi-fuunction room is furnished with a dining table and chairs as well as a sofa, providing an alternative seating area, and the kitchenette is equipped with a sink, bar fridge, microwave, electric frypan, portable induction hotplate, kettle and toaster. On the deck, a gas barbeque and outdoor dining setting are also available, perfect for a balmy evening meal or breakfast in the morning sunshine.
The house is situated 3.2km from the shops and only a 5 minute walk from the lakeside pathway making a walk into town for a coffee an attractive proposition or, in the opposite direction, a 3km walk will get you to Buckland's Jetty and the start of Captain's Creek walking track around the lake shore in Croajingalong National Park. Just a 10 minute drive away, on the other side of town, you can enjoy some of Mallacoota's beautiful ocean beaches.
For those with an interest in the native fauna, a number of kangaroos and sometimes also wallabies come out to feed in the area immediately surrounding the house garden in the early morning and late afternoon. If you are really lucky you might even get to see a koala sitting in the tree near the driveway
With no immediate neighbours, and being located in a very quiet area of the town, this house is the perfect place for some peaceful relaxation.
Whilst the owners will most likely also be in residence, apart from the initial greeting, they would expect to maintain a very low profile and yet still be available to answer questions or deal with any unforseen problem - of prime importance to them is their guests' comfort, satisfaction and enjoyment.
