Brilliant few days in this cosy cottage. Loved having a glass of wine in front of a big open fire after a day in the hills!

Amazing cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay at Milton Farm. The hosts were amazing - suggesting local activities and restaurants, available when we had questions. The cottage was quaint and quirky and perfect. We sat by a hot fire each night, cooked in the kitchen (fully stocked with all utensils), and slept in warm, comfy beds. My only bit of feedback was that the hot water timer wasn't working, so we had one morning of cold showers (easily fixed if you manually "boost" the hot water heater) and the drinking water needed boiling (which is expected in the highlands - and the host provided a large bottle upon arrival).

Overall, we loved the stay, and hope to be back again someday. Thank you!

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay in our cottage and enjoyed the lovely surrounding views and countryside. The water heater just had to be switched on. It is always a good idea to boil water before drinking when away from home, so we are advised. Look forward to your return one day!
