Many of my prime summer days are already booked but check my 2nd unit next door to this one (listing #946164). There will be no fighting over who gets the better bedroom since BOTH second floor bedrooms are master suites with private baths... there is no inferior bedroom! Unit is equipped with tankless water heater for endless hot water and high efficiency central air conditioning; two features that not all places have but you will definitely appreciate during your stay. With only the $99 damage insurance fee there will be no deposit required except in certain circumstances. Rent my second unit right next door as well if you have a larger group.

Stay in this safe, private and extremely tranquil neighborhood oasis right in the heart of the Sunset Park district of world renowned Santa Monica, California. This architecturally significant pride of ownership building is absolutely fantastic.

Wake up to a hot cup of dark roast extra bold coffee after a restful sleep in one of the two plush-top queen sized beds encased in quality linens. Sip it out in one of your two private yards.

As the rest of Los Angeles bakes in sweltering heat, you'll be enjoying the gentle cool breezes blowing in off the Pacific Ocean. Rent a bike and go off to explore the extremely bicycle friendly city for the day.

Relaxing on the living room sofa (which folds to an additional two person bed) you'll find it difficult not to utter WOW as you gaze out the 12 foot high floor to ceiling windows to your own private yard filled with black bamboo, exotic succulents and other rare and unusual plants and trees.

Just a short walk or bike ride to the beach and a hop skip and a jump away from 3rd Street Promenade, Bloomingdales, Santa Monica pier, Marina Del Rey with her flotilla filled harbor and the quirky antics at Venice Beach.

Easy access to the 10, 405 and 101 freeways make getting around town a breeze! Park your car in your dedicated space to avoid rush hour and climb aboard the light rail transit System to downtown LA (due to open May 20) and leave driving worries to Uber.

Why Paul chose Los Angeles

The Mediterranean climate is absolutely perfect here in Santa Monica. Its not unusually to drive from 100 degree weather in the San Fernando Valley just 10 miles away and have the temperature be 78 degrees in Santa Monica!

As a boy in Detroit, I use to visit Santa Monica every year with my family. We would rent the same small house by the beach every year. It was behind the Bayside hotel. It has since been torn down but if you stay at my property and walk to the beach you will pass right by the Bayside Hotel just before you reach the sand. It wasn't planned that I would later buy a property so close to that site but it sealed the deal when I found out how close it was.

What makes this townhome unique

There really isn't anything quite like my property in Santa Monica. Its is a modern luxury triplex with townhouse style units. Don't let anyone tell you that you don't need air conditioning in Santa Monica or that there will be plenty of hot water for 4 or 5 long back-to-back showers in their rental. I spared no expense in the renovation, installing tankless water heaters, high efficiency heat and air, European appliances and high end finishes. The units have never been lived in full time since the renovation. "No pets" and "no smoking" has always been the rule as well.

The neighborhood has quiet tree-lined streets and is close enough to the action without all the traffic and congestion of being in the heart of the tourist areas. Everything is a refreshing stroll or bike ride away.

Great place with that little extra

We spent 10 days here in July 2017 and really enjoyed our stay. High quality property, good location and a truly helpful host/owner. The townhouse is wery vell equipped, and we did not miss anything, being a family of four and not dining out every evening. Clean, safe, spacious, private and convenient to everything.

This was our first experience with VRBO. Suffice to say, Paul has set the bar high. I read every review for both of his properties, the number of 5 star reviews sold me. It's all true.

15 minute walk to beach, 20 minute walk to Promenade. Nice residential neighborhood, close to I-10. Every convenience is included (private patio with grill, beach gear, keurig, off street parking, sunscreen, and the list goes on). Pride of ownership is evident.

For me, my wife and 13 year old son, this property was perfect for our SoCal vacation. It may cost a bit more than local hotels on the beach, but we got so much more. Well worth it.

The owner, Paul, lives on site, but respects the privacy of his guests. Yet, when you need something, he's just a text away. Responsive, gracious, and easy to deal with.

I felt like we lived Santa Monica as opposed to visiting Santa Monica.

Amazing Stay!

Our family of 5 had a lovely 3 week stay at Paul's in Santa Monica. The location was perfect - close to the beach, wonderful restaurants, nearby groceries and a perfect hub to different areas. The house was well equipped with kitchen appliances and bathroom amenities. The inclusive weekly cleaning was very helpful as well. Paul is an amazing host - he struck the right balance between always being available to answer any queries and leaving us in peace to enjoy his gorgeous home. We look forward to coming back to enjoy the place again!

Fantastic experience!!

I rented this townhouse with my husband and two young sons for one week in April. The property was exactly as represented in the listing – absolutely lovely! – and the owner/host Paul was wonderful (helpful and quickly available for any need that arose). The townhouse was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and perfectly appointed in every way to make our stay comfortable and effortless. It was perfect for our family of four, but would work well for two adult couples as well. The property was in a central location (5 min. drive to the beach, close to the I-10 highway that takes you anywhere), in a delightful neighborhood (quiet and felt safe). The parking spot was steps from the front gate. This was our first time using VRBO and it was an excellent first impression (we will be doing this again soon!). We would definitely recommend this townhouse to others!!

Great Santa Monica Condo

Stayed for two weeks and found that everything was perfect with this property. The owners are welcoming and very accomodating. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. The condo is clean, well-equiped, comforatble and very nicely decorated. We loved the courtyard area. Convenient parking on property with extra parking on street available. Would recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Santa Monica.
