Amazing! Perfect location! Gorgeous!
We had an amazing stay. The location was perfect. We had my grandmother who is 93 my parents myself my husband and two children ages five and eight. The house was very clean spacious loved the bedrooms and kitchen. The yard was perfect for the kids to run around in the front porch was great for my parents and grandmother to sit rock and watch the view! The owner was amazing to work with. If we come back to Woodstock Vermont we will definitely be staying here again.
Beautiful, comfortable, and perfect!
This beautiful home was perfect for our vacation needs! The property is lovely, the house is beautifully furnished and comfortable, and the location is perfect! We had friends and family coming and going and there was so much to do in the area. The owner called upon our arrival to make sure all was well and answer any questions we had. Everyone just loved the house and we will definitely come back again!
A true retreat. Quiet , wonderful flowers in bloom & a porch that encouraged us to rock & observe na
This house worked as a base as we hosted friends over the month. Great equipped kitchen & excellent space to gather for meals & conversation. Easy to drive into Woodstock or launch a Vermont adventure. Having access to a good property manager is a real asset. Using the lady who knows the house so well as housekeeper insured orderliness . The house gives individuals their own space and does not compromise others who are enjoying being together. The house was spotless & we appreciated how well stocked it was with basic necessities . Each bedroom was lovely. Of course, we would have enjoyed 1 more bath upstairs & wider steps. The fireplace was a treat in chilly weather. We felt free since we did not have cell phone service & safe since we had the house land line. This house met our expectations and we will consider repeating a rental here.
We rented Cricklewood as the base for a wedding in Woodstock. The parents of the bride and groom, along with other family, had the most wonderful of stays at this house. Plenty of room, amenities, and a terrific view. I would not hesitate to recommend this house for a stay in the greater Woodstock area. Loved it!!
Very comfortable stay
This is our second visit to Cricklewood. We are a large group and the house works out very well for us. The property is beautiful and the kids have a great time using it for sledding. Proximity to the village is great as well as skiing. The house is kept very clean and well stocked with necessities. We very much enjoy our stays!
Beautiful house but the wifi needs a major upgrade
The house is well-kept and in perfect condition. The owner is kind enough to stock many supplies and sundries. The house functions well and the property manager was helpful for local needs. The only significant criticism, apart from the gas grill that had been left in disrepair (rotted burners) which the owner promised to fix, is the wifi. The wifi seems to be circa 1999. Forget streaming -- we could not reasonably operate our PCs for work-related emails and document attachments.
Thank you for your review, your many compliments, and for letting us know about these problematic issues right before you left. We wish we had heard sooner so that we could have addressed the issues during your stay. After being informed, we immediately purchased a new barbecue and had the service provider rectify the internet problem.
