A light filled period home with stylish, uncluttered interiors situated on a quiet street in Elwood.

Ideally located to experience the real Melbourne, the house is only a few minutes walk from the tram and train line, a short walk to a number of first class cafes and restaurants and walking distance to St Kilda and Elwood Beach.

The house comprises one queen bedroom, one double bedroom and a king single bunk bedroom, then queen and bunk bedroom have generous built in robes, the bunk bedroom also has a desk and is suitable for use as a study. An integrated living, dining and kitchen area overlook and open onto a generously sized landscaped courtyard.

The house is well equipped for families with a cot, high chair, kids toys and an Apple TV account jam packed with kids movies. It has a european laundry with washing machine and dryer, bathroom with walk in shower and claw foot bath, outdoor bbq and well equipped kitchen.

The house is ideally located in a rare pocket of Elwood with easy access to trams and trains: it is just a few minutes walk to Ripponlea Train Station then 10 minutes by train to reach the CBD, MCG and Tennis Centre while the tram line to Albert Park, South Melbourne and Chapel Street is just a few minutes walk away.

Elwood is a beautiful area of Melbourne in its own right: there is of course the beach as well as four great shopping strips just moments walk away. Tennyson Street, Ormond Road Brighton Road and Ripponlea villages each offer an excellent choice of cafes, restaurants, delis and stores. There are two beautiful parks nearby - Elsternwick Park and St Kilda Botanical Gardens, with a bike path running from Elwood beach through to St Kilda and the city.

Surrounding suburbs St Kilda, Elsternwick and Ripponlea are home to some of Melbourne's best restaurants - we can recommend a long list of places to dine out within walking distance or a short uber away.

Excellent property

We were so happy with this property as soon as we walked in. With little children it was a perfect space for them to stay and play safely. The entire house was immaculate and just as described with beautiful floral arrangments a lovely touch. Thank you will definitely stay again!
