Great weekend away!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely weekend away at Spotted Gums. The Cabin had everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

We particularly liked the outdoor heater which we used in the evenings.

The breakfast provisions are great and there are ample towels and blankets etc.

The accommodation is in a great location on the Hermitage food & wine trail. We were able to walk to several wineries all within 15 mins.

We took our two small dogs with us and there was plenty of space out the front of the cabin for them to play!

Overall a great place. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others wanting a get away in the Hunter Valley

Beautiful little cottage in great location!

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was a great find for myself, my husband and two year old son for a weekend stay in the Hunter.

It was large with a spacious bedroom (king size bed), living area, kitchen and bathroom, plus it had every amenity we could have wished for. The provision of a bottle of wine plus breakfast foods, juice etc. was a welcome addition. I should also mention that the cottage was very clean and well maintained with tasteful, comfortable furnishings.

The surroundings are lovely. We enjoyed relaxing on the large deck and looking out at the trees and birds. It was also very conveniently located, close to a number of vineyards and cafes.

Overall, a great stay. Thank you!

Ideal Home Away from Home

  • 5 of 5

Immaculate presentation, great attention to detail, very clean, quiet and private, cottage set well off road among the gum trees. We loved our stay and our pooch enjoyed the nature walks. Also wheelchair accessible. Great vineyards and restaurants nearby, impressed by Mistletoe next door and had a lovely dinner at the nearby Botanica restaurant. We loved the breakfast items left for us to prepare. We will return and would highly recommend.
