Comfortable Property in a Central Location
We stayed at this property for 2 nights. The property was within walking distance of the Halls Gap town centre. The property had comfortable beds and was tastefully furnished. Our stay would have been perfect had there not been dead flies all over the floor and on the kitchen counter tops on our arrival. Also, the bathroom basin was tiny and awkward to use as it allowed water to splatter all over the floor. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. The property was well located and had a lovely atmosphere. The issues mentioned above are only minor and would certainly not be a deterrant when staying at this property.
A little slice of luxury in The Grampians!
A perfect little cottage to base ourselves for our holiday exploring The Grampians. Beautifully furnished, wonderfully homely and equipped with everything you need. Nights were spend unwinding - soaking in the bath or sipping wine in front of the fire after a long day exploring.
Maybe some board/card games and some outdoor toys for the kids would be the only thing extra you could want for.
Thanks for having us - we can't wait to visit again!
Fabulous little Cottage
We had a lovely few days in this cosy cottage. It was clean and well equiped for our family. We loved the fireplace! Excellent location for access to the local attractions.
great accomodation, location. very clean, well appointed
The perfect set up...
Apart from us not having heating on the first night which was out of the owners control - our stay was simply beautiful! A lovely cottage, fit for all occasions...
We shall be definitely back ;) Thank you for having us!
Thank you for your lovely comments as we have tried to put a lot of effort into making this a beautiful holiday home. Also a big Thank you for working with us to resolve the heating issue (all fixed now) and we apologise again for the inconvenience. Hopefully you enjoyed the wood fire! We look forward to your return visit.
This property is very clean, nicely furnished and freshly renovated with comfy beds. The plan was to snuggle in and watch the footy on Friday night. Unfortunately the reverse cycle heater wasn't able to heat this small cottage (even after 5 hours set at 31 degrees). There is a wood burner in the lounge but no timber, firelighters or kindling is supplied. There was a wet woodpile outside though. Spare batteries for the flat TV remote would have been good. We had to go to the local pub to warm up!
Thank you for your positive comments regarding the house and Sincere apologies for the heating issue you experienced - we have since had a qualified refrigeration mechanic look at the reverse cycle air conditioner to ensure it does not happen again and there is wood & kindling etc provided for the fire place.
