Aisha at Beechworth is a cosy affordable self contained cottage nestled in the gardens of Stonebrae Mews and close to Beechworth's main street (1.3km). The cottage features an open fire place, comfortable bed, recliner lounge, double spa bath, private leafy garden, bbq, TV, DVDs, books and games. Included in the tariff are tea, coffee, breakfast spreads, and port for a nightcap.
Enjoy our unique one bedroom cottage with separate lounge / dining and kitchenette. The queen bedroom is complimented by a a double spa bath and shower ensuite. The cottage is surrounded by a lovely leafy cottage garden and large trees and outdoor furniture means you can enjoy dinner or drinks under the stars
TRAVELLING WITH A CHILD
White the cottage is set up for singles and couples, if you are travelling with a child you too are most welcome. You will find a single floor mattress under the queen bed as well as linen, toys, books and children's DVDs in a box in the cupboard.
In winter you can lay back by the open fire place in the recliner lounge under the cathedral wooden ceiling feeling warm and cosy watching a DVD, reading a book or having a quite night cap. All wood is provided for your fire in the tariff (April - September). With large northern facing windows you can enjoy the winter sun while staying in if you like or maybe enjoy lunch in the leafy garden. Winter is also a great time to enjoy local walks and waterfalls, visit a winery or make a day trip to the snow fields.
SUMMER / AUTUMN / SPRING
In the summer you can enjoy a picnic and swimming at Lake Sambell (with beach and playground if you have kids), a splash at Woolshed Falls, a bike ride along the rail trail, lunch at a local winery, dinner under the stars listening to birds or enjoy a nightcap on the porch.
There are many delightful walks to enjoy, waterfalls to visit and history to savour in Beechworth. There are also many local music festivals and winery events for your enjoyment
If you are travelling with a dog (no more than 2) you are welcome to say with us (please inform us at the time of booking) but please note that the yard is NOT fenced and your friend must be under control at all times. We do ask that you clean up after your pet and not allow them on the furniture or to dig up the gardens. You will find a box in the cottage with a bowl, small blanket, and scooper. NO CATS please.
FOOD AND SUPPLIES
If you are arriving late and need supplies there is a 24 hour Shell service station with basic supplies (bread, milk, toiletries etc) just 800 metres away on Bridge Road. There is also an IGA in Beechworth AND many restaurants / cafes to eat at as well as wineries in the local area.
