This 3 bedroom apartment is one of six flats in a lovely historic home that has been faithfully restored to it's original grandeur with a mix of the historic and the modern, featuring 3 bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, full-closet and one with an en-suite full bath. At the heart of this home is a cozy kitchen with a large eating and lounging area, flat-screen Cable TV with DVD player, and WiFi. The apartment was perfect for us. With 6 of us on a girl's weekend, it fit each of us sleeping, getting ready, and hanging out in the common area perfectly. It was very comfortable and clean, and the houses on the street were beautiful. It felt like a very safe area. I'd absolutely stay again in the future! One thing to note...the street car line that runs directly in front of the house was under construction, so we ended up taking cabs instead. However, United Cab had dispatch just down the road, and they were the best cab company I've ever used, so it ended up being fine. I was under the impression construction was going to wrap up soon.

Perfect for what we needed.

While it's definitely not the Ritz it's perfect for a New Orleans trip. Very nice to have your own kitchen. On your first day go over to Jacks Meat Market and get the breakfast special. You'll be set for a weeks worth of Bacon, eggs, sausage ect... Steve is super nice and accommodating. Great transit system but mostly used Lyft and Uber.

Almost Perfect!

We stayed here during Madi Gras 2016. It was six ladies in total and we stayed 5 days and 4 nights. We rode the train into town so we did not have a car; we opted for public transit, a taxi and Uber. We stayed out for most of the time we were there but we did spend time relaxing at the apartment. I don't have any major complaints, I would stay here again and I would highly recommend this location to anyone! My only complaints are those that are to be expected of an older building. My full review is listed below.

Glad to know about this place. worked well for us. Only problem I wish the living area was bigger and couldn't use the water in one of the bathrooms cause it didn't have any water pressure. Hopefully that gets fixed

Weekend in NOLA

Overall, I had a good stay. The location was near bus stops which is extremely convenient if you're trying to go anywhere near Burbon street because parking down that way is ridiculous.

Decor wise, the place is nice. Unfortunately the walls need some work. They are rundown and the cracks had me paranoid about bugs. I did not come across any though, luckily, aside from one solo spider which even the cleanest of houses sees on occasion. 2 of the 3 mattresses were comfortable but the 3rd was comparable to the floor. Must replace! The pillows were lovely. The towels however, they smelled old. Like, they were left to dry in the washer versus the dryer, leaving that soury scent to it. They looked clean, but I'm big on smells. That fresh laundered scent is what I look for when I use linens that aren't mine.

Last thing, the sounds of cars driving by is easily heard thru the walls. It didn't bother me, but to those sensitive to those sounds when sleeping might want to avoid the room nearest the street.

Like I said, overall the trip went smoothly. Check in, checkout, access to transportation, property parking, all of that was easy. Property was spacious. And my complaints are all small, easily fixed (new mattress, plaster the walls, and fresher towels). Thanks!

false advertising

The advertising stole me over, I was completely sold. But when I arrived very disappointed. 1st I understand an exterminator came but someone could of came back and sweep the dead bugs up. The place was not homie, very dusty and smelly. The pillows and sheets looked dirty, so we went to a store to buy pillows and blankets to sleep on so we could be somewhat comfortable. Upstairs was very noisy and neighbors somewhat rude. Only thing benefited with staying there was it was close to the superdome a d french quarters. Overall I would not recommend no one stay or rent this location. Again the advertising sole me but is completely false.

Moving forward, special attention will be paid to sweep for bugs prior to guests' arrival. The apartment is cleaned and stocked with fresh linens between each guest, though the owner will look into it further and appreciates the constructive feedback. We encourage renters to reach out while in residence to report any cleanliness concerns so the problem can be remedied. Unfortunately, this was the first indication of any dissatisfaction. Went Perfectly

We had a great time visiting for our daughter's graduation. As you would expect, we were there to sleep and nothing else but the apartment is very nice, clean and best of all great location with parking. The access was really easy because of the digital lock on the door and since it was 5 adults not all coming and going at the same time, it made it really easy access with no wasted time for key exchanges. This is not a 5 star hotel, you can get those on This house has the charm of the older homes of the area and we have a great time there.
