Beautiful, clean, spacious, luxury home. The bedroom, bathrooms make it very convenient to have friends and family to stay as a group. The kitchen is fantastic, seats the whole gang. We have used this home before and as usual, this year was truly a spectacular vacation.
This house is absolutely beautiful. It has everything you could possibly want in a vacation home. The location is perfect too, on a street with very little traffic and just a few blocks from the Embarcadero. The view from the 3rd floor is spectacular. We spent a week here with our family of 10 and it was very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. The library is connected to the 3rd bedroom which made a perfect 2 bedroom suite for my son, daughter-in-law and their 3 children. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a plus. I will definitely book this house for our next family vacation in Morro Bay. I would give it more than 5 stars.
This house is huge. We had our first family reunion here (15 people)and everyone had their own space. 3 bedrooms and lots of beds made my entire family happy. People could escape to the first floor to play billiards and have quiet time or to the rooms on the second floor to nap.The kitchen easily fits a cook and a few su chefs. It's ginormous and we would gather around the table and play games every night. There isn't a back yard or a yard really, but if you like to wake up early or have kids that do, the house is a short walk to Morro Rock or the embarcadero. There's lots to do outside even without a yard. It was great!
We also took the boogy boards to Avila beach one day, which was a blast except half of us got burned... Then we all washed off with the hose in front before going in. Jeff and Colleen definitely have thought of everything!
The house had plenty of parking in front so we never had to go looking for a place to park. five beautiful bathrooms were definitely enough for everyone as long as people don't mind sharing. My uncle loved the steam room and could probably live there. Beautiful house!
I would recommend it to everyone, unless you don't like stairs. There are a lot of stairs. Wasn't my grandmas favorite part, and we ended up putting a chair in front of the stairs so my baby wouldn't fall down them accidentally. Morro is a beautiful town and this was a beautiful home to stay in. Thank you so much Jeff and Colleen!
If you are a large family or group of friends looking for a spacious, quality, beautiful home...this is the one for you!! We were a group of 3 families, 12 people. The home was beyond perfect for us!! The main living room was so large it had 2 areas to gather in each with its own big screen TV. We could all be together yet the kids in the other area could watch a different movie. The 3 master suites gave each family their own headquarters. Plenty of other sleeping sofas or murphy beds. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Washer/Dryer included. The pool table on the first level was a hit for all ages. We have already made arrangements to book this property for our next gathering!! Owner was honest and kind to work with. Beautiful views from the top main level and easy walking to restaurants and shopping.
We loved the house - it is spacious, modern and extremely comfortable. Jeff and Colleen have thought of every possible amenity for a vacationing family. They are the nicest and easiest hosts to deal with.
The location is awesome - a few minutes walk to Embarcadero and the Morro Rock. Every day we saw right out of the kitchen window deer grazing on the grass across the street. The house also has gorgeous views of the ocean and the Morro Rock. There were lots of seals, sea lions and otters who really put on a show in the bay.
The Morro Bay location turned out to be pretty central and convenient with easy access to San Luis Obispo, Cambria, Paso Robles and Hearst Castle.
We especially enjoyed visiting Cambria's Moonstone beach and Robin's restaurant. Our favourite winery was Carmody McKnight in Paso Robles. We also took Hearst Castle tour at night and the holiday lights were very pretty.
The whole family loved it and we would absolutely come back!
The house is incredibly accommodating for a large group. We recently stayed at this wonderful home for our 3rd company fishing trip to Morro Bay. The rooms are beautiful with many comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked. The view of the Rock and the Bay is also very nice. It is a 5 minute walk down to the Embarcadero where a group can book a fishing trip or enjoy dinner at one of many restaurants. I couldn't imagine a better home with a better location for a family looking to enjoy the Embarcadero and all the sites nearby. Great place!
