It has become quite challenging recently, 2017).
SURFING / WINDSURFING
Waterloo Bay itself is an excellent spot for windsurfing with variable conditions for beginners and advanced sailors. Over at Walkers Rock the surf break is a great learning spot for beginners to advanced surfing and a great place for windsurfing with a small offshore reef with a great break (if conditions are right) for those who want to take their sail out in the waves.
Blacks, on the Elliston Peninsula is one of South Australia's finest and biggest waves but should only be attempted by experts - I mean it! When it fires, it is a world class and demanding spot - legendary.
