Stylish spacious beachfront condo situated in Holetown on the beautiful west coast of Barbados. This bright and airy ground floor condo is well protected from any road noise, unlike some other units in this complex.
It has a large air-conditioned bedroom with kingsize bed which can be or made up as twin beds if required. There are multiple UK and US power sockets.
Lounge/dining room: Three seater sofa which converts to a fully sprung queen sized sofa bed with an additional two seater settee. Television with island and cable TV, DVD/CD audio.
Glass topped dining table which can seat up to six people.
Cordless telephone with extension in bedroom. High speed broadband for laptop via supplied Ethernet cable or wifi.
Refitted bathroom with shower, en-suite three wall mirrored dressing area with basin, vanity unit, hairdryer and wardrobes. Built in security safe.
Separate fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer. Generous provision of cutlery, crockery and glassware.
Patio doors from the lounge/dining area lead onto balcony and then directly out to the garden and swimming pool area; enabling easy return to the condo for refreshments or a comfort break. There is an additional rear entrance door from the lounge area.
A well kept fresh water swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas. A few steps through the tropical garden to the beach and the enticing blue waters of the Caribbean.
All linen is provided. This includes face, hand, bath and beach towels provided. Maid service - 3 x week
Transport: A car is not a necessity although car hire is available. The condo has its own allocated parking bay.
There are multiple shops, restaurants and bars close by. Buses are plentiful and used by both locals and tourists.
Bridgetown is a 20 minute bus journey - full of historic buildings, abundance of restaurants and shops – including Duty Free Shops.
Taxis are available.
Airport pickup can be arranged if required, current cost is about Bds$80.
Activities: Many water based activities are available on the beach - jet skiing, water skiing, glass bottom boats, and champagne catamaran trips.
There are several Golf courses available on the island, the closest are at Sandy Lane and Royal West Moreland.
Boat trips can be arranged, fishing both near to shore and deep sea. Trips to the endangered turtles.
Snorkelling and scuba diving.
The sea is usually calm and tranquil and suitable for children.
Tourist attractions include Harrison’s caves, Wild Life Reserve, Orchid World.
Restaurants: are plentiful to suit all tastes and budgets. They include Italian, Indian, Thai in addition to traditional Bajan some with free entertainment/pan music and all within easy walking distance.
We have just returned from a two week stay at this beautiful apartment. The apartment is just like the photos. It is very clean and comfortable. There are lots of fans around the place and air con in the bedroom. The bed is very comfy. The kitchen has everything you could need to make a meal if you need to, The terrace is shaded and a great place to sit to get out of the sun for a while. The beach is just a very short stroll through the gate at the bottom of the garden.We used to take two beach loungers onto the beach and watch the world go by or watch the sun set. The sea just in front of the apartment is great for snorkelling you can often see turtles and rays. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in the area for all budgets. There is a bus service to get you around. Its a bit of an experience but we used them all the time, we also rented a car for 2 days. The owner of the apartment is very.
helpful and always responded quickly to any questions I had. Andrea looked after the apartment when we where there. She was very helpful and a pleasure to talk to. If you are looking for a place to stay look no further. You will love it here.
We have just returned from a week at this wonderful condo. The condo is steps from the pool and a very short walk through the property to the beach. The beach is amazing. The condo is very clean and has everything one could ask for in a vacation rental. The bed is extremely comfortable. We loved the location since we could walk to the grocery store and wonderful restaurants. On a couple of days we rented a car and toured the island. That was an adventure! We took the bus to the fish market at paynes bay and purchased fantastic fish for two nights dinner. Sunday night is Kareoke night at a bar up the street and a lot of fun. We hope to go back as soon as we can.
We had a fabulous holiday thank you! The apartment had absolutely everything we wanted and more. Andrea looked after us so well and was very helpful. The position was ideal with the supermarket and all the restaurants and bars so nearby. The shady terrace was beautiful too - a favourite spot of mine as I don't spend much time directly in the sun. The design of the codo seemed excellent as the breeze through was lovely at night and we never used the air conditioning.
We explored the island with a hire car for part of the holiday and had great fun. We enjoyed swimming in the sea too. I would recommend the condo to friends and family.

Listing description accurate. This condo was set in an ideal positon overlooking the pool area. It was quiet, peaceful with idyllic surroundings. The beach was at the end of the garden through locked gate.
The property was well equiped with everything you would wish for. It was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. It was not clutterred with personal belongings so we felt it was our 'place' for the holiday.
The owner provided excellant support with telephone numbers of contacts and taxis.
We would definately recommend this property.

I have stayed at here twice, once in July 2008 for a long weekend and in September 2008 for 4 weeks.

Air-conditioned bedroom with remote control was a necessity, worked very well, wasn’t noisy so didn’t keep me awake all night! Television with island and cable TV, DVD/CD audio all worked perfectly. High speed broadband for laptop that actually worked! Patio doors and iron gate that open onto terrace and gardens. Although I don’t like the aesthetic of the iron gate they are there for safety as you are on the ground floor. Refitted bathroom with shower, en-suite dressing area with basin, vanity unit, hairdryer and wardrobes...all very clean. Built in safe (even though it is a key lock, it is good to have a safe to store valuables). Separate fully equipped kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, all working fine and clean. Generous provision of cutlery, crockery and glassware. Literally a few steps through the tropical garden to the beach, it’s so close, I practically lived on the beach! All linen including face, hand, bath and beach towels provided and all very clean. Maid service was excellent.
Pat and the owner are amazing, so helpful and accommodating. I wanted to stay an extra week in September, the kitchen was supposed to be re-furbished the week I was leaving but the owner sorted it out so that I could stay the extra week and refurbishments done a week later. I was so grateful!
I would recommend this apartment to anyone who is looking for a well looked after apartment in an amazing location, an all you need, hassle free holiday. It really does have all the amenities needed for a self catering holiday, is near to all the local restaurants, supermarkets and entertainment. I am planning on going back very soon!!!
Really nice, clean, well maintained apartment with everything you need for a self catering holiday - lots of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. We were lazy though and decided to eat out, except for breakfast and lunch. Really great position - about 9 restaurants and 3 or 4 bars right on your doorstep but not in anyway noisey. Great quiet pool in lush gardens - beware the mosquitos! Lots of sunbeds and brollies to use beside it. Gardens and pool kept beautifully. Look out for the family of monkeys and the mongoose. Easy access to beach which stretched for about 2 miles - walked it most days - enough exercise for anyone! Pat, local resident who looks after the keys for the owner was extremely helpful answering any queries we had and arranging welcome pack and taxis. Lots of tourist information books and leaflets to look through and a personal note about the apartments from the owners.
Favourite restaurant is still 'Tides' although can only afford it for special occasions.Others for better value are Zaccios, Surfside, Just Grilling (a fast food take out or eat in place) Oistins fish market is a great place to visit on a Friday night although quite a run. Our favourite is Sunday night in 1st street when all the locals congregate outside the local chattel bar for kareoke in the street - 'X factor' has got nothing on this!!
Holetown is approximately a 35 minute drive from the airport. In the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants, bars and a very fine bakery/Patisserie. Just a 3 minute stroll away is the recently opened Lime Grove shopping complex with designer brand shops, restaurants and cafes. There is also an air-conditioned cinema The centre of Holetown is about an 6 minute stroll from the condo and include multiple shops, banks, post office, police station etc. The shopping mall has a coffee area, Small duty free Cave Shepherd outlet, a well stocked supermarket and boutiques. A further walk of 5 minutes will bring you to a larger Cave Shepherd Duty Free shop.
There are numerous bars/restaurants within walking distance for a variety of budgets. There are restaurants specialising in Italian, Indian or Thai as well as traditional Bajan food.
The island has the relatively tranquil Caribbean Sea on the west coast and and on the east coast the invigorating Atlantic Ocean.
