As part of our Luxury Collection, 'Dolphin View' is ideally situated on the Isle of Palms, near Sullivan's Island and Breach Inlet. This home features many luxury upgrades such as natural heart pinewood flooring, built-in bunk beds, gourmet kitchen, private pool, hot tub (heated for a fee) and rooftop terrace with spectacular views of Hamlin Creek, the Intracoastal waterway.
The first floor in Dolphin View houses two bedrooms with private baths, a half bath and an open floor plan living room, kitchen and dining area. Enjoy spending time with family and friends in the gourmet kitchen that features granite countertops, double ovens and island gas range cook top, or relax in the naturally lit living room with front porch access. The first of the two bedrooms on this floor includes a king bed, private bath with walk-in shower and porch access with pool views. The second bedroom has two built-in bunk beds (singles), a private bath with a tub/shower combination and porch access with pool views.
The second floor in this luxury home includes three more bedrooms, each with their own private bathroom. The first is the master which features a four-poster king bed, direct access to the large front porch where guests can enjoy views of the Intracoastal waterway and a private bath with a separate walk-in shower and jacuzzi tub. Just down the hall from the master are another two bedrooms--the first with a queen bed and private bath with a walk-in shower and the second with two twins and a private bath with a tub/shower combination.
From the second floor, guests can take the spiral staircase to the third floor that features a wet bar and a large widow's walk roof-top deck. Guests can enjoy sunbathing during the day or enjoying sunset panoramic views of Hamlin Creek, the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
The exterior of the home provides the perfect space for entertaining and spending time with family or friends. Located in the private, fenced in back yard, guests can enjoy the use of their private, in-ground pool and hot tub (heated for a fee). The pool and backyard area creates the perfect place to relax or grill out. When guests are finished swimming in the pool, they can enjoy sand and sea with just a short walk down to the ocean.

The home was lovely, the location was great and working with exclusive properties was also fantastic. I was looking for a new place to stay because we vacation in IOP every year and last year our regular person sold their home.

The house was nice. Large and nicely decorated. There were issues:
1. The living room cable did not work. We reported the issue on Monday; however, it was not fixed when we left on Sat.
2. The microwave did not have enough power to heat potatoes.
3. The elevator was difficult to use. The first floor light did not work.
We rented 202 Dolphin View for our 50th anniversary to celebrate with our 3 married children and 4 grandchildren ages 8-16. It was perfect for my family. A bedroom and bath for each of the 4 couples, and the grandchildren loved the bedroom with the 2 bunkbeds and bath. The kitchen and living area were roomy and easily accommodated us; the beach was an easy 2-block walk away; the kids used the swimming pool every afternoon after sightseeing; the elevator made it convenient for my husband who had recently had knee surgery; and the roof-top deck was fun for the grown-ups to sit and visit after the kids had gone to bed. We chose the perfect house for our needs.
We had a wonderful time here. The house is laid out very well, the elevator is a plus. Spacious home. We had three couples and four small children here and we all had plenty of room and privacy. We had no worries about the toddlers and the pool, it would be very difficult for a small child could get to the pool without adult assistance. Everything you need is in the kitchen. The bathrooms are roomy and clean. The house is also just plain beautiful. Large windows, wood floors, balconies. Perfect property for a large family and children of any age.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at Dophin View. Beautiful home with gorgeous views of the marsh. Grand children enjoyed the heated pool, hottub and crabbing on the beach at night. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the home layout allowed the family to enjoy each other without falling over everyone. The open concept and elevator allowed my husband, who uses a wheelchair, free access to the home. The management staff was very accomodating and quickly addressed our issue with the pool heater. We'd definately recommend ths home to any large family wanting a relaxing get away vacation.
Our family stayed at Dolphin View during Christmas week 2013 and we enjoyed the home and surrounding community. We lucked out and had several 60 degree days and were able to talk a walk on the beach and enjoy the tropical atmosphere of the island. The house itself was clean and welcoming upon arrival. We had a small problem one day with no hot water, but the management company was quick to respond and the problem was fixed before we knew it. The proximity to Charleston was a big plus for our decision to stay at Dolphin View. We could be downtown within 30 minutes and enjoyed walking the historic district on several days. We would definitely stay at Dolphin View again if our schedule brings us to the Charleston area.
My family and I stayed at Dolphin View for our niece's wedding. We had 10 adults and 2 dogs with another friend thrown into the mix. It was perfect for us. Every couple had their own room with their own bathroom. A large kitchen and living area with numerous balconies with water views on both sides rounded out the house. Great roof top deck with a wet bar, pool with hot tub and a fireplace made this house a really fun and spacious house for us all. We had plenty of parking and most important we had an elevator for our two members with stair issues. The property was clean, well maintained and was even better than listed. The few maintenance issues we had were taken care of with a quick phone call or prompt visit by their maintenance personnel. We were only a few short blocks to the beach. It was a great stay, we would all recommend this house and would all love to visit again.
