YOUR FAMILY HOME IN LONDON: Free Wi-Fi - XBox(Wi-fi)

Situated on the edge of Zone 1, close to two Tube stations and with frequent buses to Waterloo, Westminster and beyond, it is the perfect base for a vacation exploring London.

Both Tube stations are a 10-minute walk away, or take the bus and be at Tate Britain, Big Ben, or Westminster Abbey in 10-15 minutes!

The house is situated in a safe, quiet, residential street and with space to spread out and relax (a scarce commodity in most London holiday apartments) it is perfect for families, couples, or larger groups. On quiet nights you can even hear Big Ben strike and the River Thames is just a short walk away.

The new American Embassy is being built nearby, very close to the impressive MI6 building.

Please note that this is a traditional British semi-detatched house, not an apartment. You occupy the whole house, so no noisy neighbours above, or below!

There are two 'Local' express supermarkets 5-minutes away, plus cafés, delis and restaurants, all within easy reach. There are also two gyms nearby to work off the calories.

The property has recently been totally refurbished and is supplied with everything you'll need to make your stay stress free and comfortable and cut down on your luggage.

There is a small, but fully-loaded kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Upstairs, are two large bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and remote-controlled ceiling fans, a smaller bedroom with full sized bunk-bed and a family bathroom with bath tub and power shower.

Downstairs there is a shower room, a lounge with double sofa bed, ceiling fan and flat screen TV and a dining room (seats 8) leading out to a patio garden.

Baby cots and inflatable beds can also be supplied on request. The house is centrally-heated and double-glazed.

Linens, towels, bathrobes and 2 hairdriers are supplied.

The house sleeps 8 adults (in beds/sofabed, plus we can provide 2 extra cots for infants)

For relaxing at night, a selection of DVDs and Xbox 360 games are available (please ask, as we like to offer age appropriate films and Xbox games), as well as books and games.

Free Wi-Fi is available. Also supplied are two pay-as-you-go phones for you to use during your stay.

Some basic food stuffs to get you started are included, such as tea, coffee (instant, decaff and filter), milk, bread, eggs, butter, cooking oil, olive oil and condiments.

If you would like us to have your own shopping ready for you when you arrive we can arrange that for a small fee of £10, or you can order it online and have it delivered and we will put perishables in the fridge.

If you have any special requirements, please let us know and we will do our best.

Check in is 4 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m.

If you are arriving early, we can look after your luggage until check in time, so you can fit in some sightseeing.

We try to be as flexible as possible with arrival and departure times.

There is a total no smoking policy in the house, but guests may smoke in the garden.

Daily Parking Permits can be arranged, the current cost is £5 per day.

We are nearby, so always on call for any queries.

Great place to stay!

We are five women from Dortmund / Germany and stayed in Bev's and Jeff's house for four days. Everything was fine!

The house is very nice, the furnishing and equipment was good, there's a lovely little terrace at the back of the house and last but not least Bev and Jeff are really friendly and helpful people. Everything was clean and comfortable and there even was some food on the kitchen for the first day.

The house is situated in a small street, it was really quiet and calm.

We enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend this property to you, if you are looking for a nice accomodation.

A gem!!

Couldn't have asked for better hosts or location!! Jeff and Bev certainly make sure you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Impeccably clean, laundry facilities, grocery staples left for you, cell phones to borrow, enough tourist info available to ensure you don't get lost. Restaurants, Grocery stores and bus terminal nearby. Any problems, Jeff and Bev are right next door !!

Superb

This was our first time using Homeaway. We weren't sure what to expect. My husband, in laws and our 3 teens stayed for a week. I highly recommend staying at Jeff and Bev's. Our every need was anticipated: from umbrellas being available , maps and local guides, restaurant recommendations, Oyster cards, robes, slippers, even fixings for our first breakfast! My kids could unwind after a long day of sightseeing by watching their huge movie selection. We wanted for nothing! We felt immediately welcome and right at home. It was a perfect spot and close to the underground and buses. The house was spotless! They set the bar high for other Homeaway lodgings. You can tell they take great pride in providing stellar lodging and definitely a home away! We will definitely be back!!!

Even Better Than Last Time!

This was my second stay in this lovely home. As usual, Bev and Jeff were wonderful hosts and the house spotless and welcoming.

What made my stay even better? Bev stocked the fridge with some of my favorite items (mature cheddar, yum!) which she recalled I favored from my previous visit.

How can I consider staying any where else when I feel like a welcomed family member instead of a paying guest?

Next year can't come quickly enough!

Perfect location!

We had a family of four (with two twenty year olds) and our five day stay here was wonderful! Jeff and Bev are wonderful hosts and as noted in other reviews the house is prepared with everything you need, including supplies for a lovely breakfast or two. We took their advice and used the Simply Airports car service to deliver us from Heathrow to the house. It was stress free and got us to the house quickly which is very nice after a long flight. We walked to the Vauxhall tube station everyday as it was only 10 minutes away. From there, London attractions are easily accessible. There was also a small but nicely stocked grocery store (Waitrose) at Vauxhall which allowed us to pick up our supplies. We ate at Ocean Blue (fabulous fish and chips) and at A Toca (wonderful Portuguese restaurant where two people can easily share one entree). Both of these restaurants are within a 10 minute walk from the house and are highly recommended.

As they say, location is everything and this house is in the perfect location to see the sights of London. The area is very quiet and we always felt safe. We would definitely return and have already recommended this house to a few friends.

Fantastic place

I can't recommend this place highly enough. The location is great. It was a short 10-15 minute trip to Westminster. The neighborhood had good, affordable restaurants that were recommended to us. The house was great and everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. They even had some food in the fridge when we arrived so we didn't have to rush out in the morning for breakfast. Everything went perfectly with the trip. If we ever return I will rent from them again, but I will have to plan ahead as this place is booked months in advance.
