We all had a great time, enjoying the house, wine, the fire pit and kangaroos in the garrden
Mary has done a great job in renovating this Queenslander to provide excellent accommodation. The house is spacious with a modern kitchen and first class handicap friendly bathroom. There is even ramp access into the house.
We enjoyed the cosy fire heater in the living room and the wonderfull fire pit in the garden. We cooked our vegetables on the coals and meat on the BBQ.
My NZ guests loved the visits by Kangaroos each evening and parrots in the morning.
The rural setting is peaceful, but close to wineries, National Park and the town.
A lovely stay, will return one day.
Thank you Geoff for staying with us.
And for your kind words.
We enjoyed having you to stay & look forward to your return.
With best wishes,
Great cottage with everything that you need.
Had a wonderful time. Mary was there to greet us and make us feel welcome. Cottage contains everything you need. Fully fenced yard for the dogs. Great location to Girraween National Park. Definitely would come back again.
Thank you for staying with us Jennine.
We really appreciate your kind words & look forward to seeing you again.
We loved this place. Watching the sunset on the deck with wine and cheese, seeing the blue wrens in the bird bath from the shower window. Chocolate shop and good winery's nearby. Gorgeous water holes not too far away. Our four pawed ones loved the big yard and chance to roam the paddock and take a dip in the dam. So good.

We loved staying at Pepper Tree cottage. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Mary made us, and our labrador, very welcome. The cottage was set up with all that we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is amazing - with only birds and wallabies for company, yet within easy reach of wineries, coffee shops and beautiful Giraween national park.
Thank you for staying with us Helen, we enjoyed meeting you and hope we'll see you again soon, best wishes, Mary
Perfect location and comfort!
This location was perfect! We made the most of being close to Girraween and the chocolate shop and wineries during our stay. The house was beautifully renovated with plenty of chill out spaces, comfortable beds and good quality linens. Mary was lovely and greeted us with her friendly dogs and a welcome gift of wine and local produce. Our favourite time of day was the afternoon when, after taking our dogs for a walk around the property, we sat on the back terrace sipping local wine and watching the kangaroos, fairy wrens and finches before moving to the verandah for a spectacular sunset over the dam. Our boy explored the outcrops of boulders with some friends, and rated it "hard-core parquor" and our city dogs thought they had died and gone to heaven.
Thanks Mary, we would love to visit again soon.
Kellie and Angus
