Awesome little place
Close to restaurants and clubs
Thanks Gina. I'm so glad the cottage had everything you wanted. Please come again!
This property was a great find. Stayed here 3 weeks on a business trip. It has everything even down to a proper coffee machine with pods, milk in the frig, all kitchen equipment etc. Such a wonderful alternative to soul-destroying motels and immediately behind the iconic Paragon Cafe. Owner was extremely helpful. Will definitely be back for work or holiday.
Robyn, your judgement was warmly received and I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay. Just about everyone knows where the Paragon is but in another year or so there will be a new landmark just across the road--an amazing 400-seat Performing Arts Centre. I look forward to your return.
A little home away from home
The place was a picturesque surprise right in the middle of town. I only spent one night there but I would definitely stay there again if my travels took me through Goulburn again.
Thank you Belinda. I look forward to welcoming you when you return.
Perfect location and cosy little cottage.
Thank you Ellen. You're most welcome to return and linger longer!
Perfect destination for our wedding night, within walking distance for a Paragon Cafe Breakfast. The cottage charm was so sweet, and Warwick really made us feel welcome. Only suggestion would be block out blinds/curtains especially for the sky light.
Hi Sarah. It was a privilege to have a small part in your wedding. I'm thankful that you both enjoyed your stay and would like to welcome you back for a future anniversary. As for the skylight...oh dear! I left the shade up so you'd see the stars!!! Underneath the skylight is a stick with a hook on it that allows you to close the shade. I'm sorry it was overlooked. Best wishes for the honeymoon.
Beautiful historic oasis
The whole set up is beautiful. We stayed during very hot weather. We were worried at first as we found the address was in a boring modern car park. Then we saw the charming two storey historic building and its private walled courtyard. You go through the high gate and are under a pergola covered in grape vines with its water feature and herb garden.
The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need.
Your description of The Coach House as an "oasis" inspired me to delve into the Macquarie Dictionary. It further defines the word as "any place that provides a welcome relief from discomfort or distress". With the outside temp near 40 deg.it was much cooler beside the pond in a covered courtyard and inside behind those stone walls. Thank you Kate and Len for sharing your experience. I would love to see you return.
Walk nearby streets and discover an amazing variety of architecture, from colonial days as Australia's first inland city to the grand homes and offices that arose from booming rural industries. Enjoy Belmore Park with its markets and festival activities.Best of all, the cafe food is sumptuous.
