Bundeena is a unique village completely enclosed by national park and four beautiful beaches, yet still within the Sydney metropolitan area and only an hour away from city restaurants, galleries and concerts. In Bundeena you will find:
- Unspoilt beaches, with the opportunity to swim, kayak, snorkel or go fishing.
- Cafes, restaurants and regular live music at the local Bowling and RSL clubs (RSL currently closed for redevelopment).
- Talented artists who open their studios to visitors for the Art Trail held on the first Sunday of every month, along with the Monthly market day.
- Tennis courts, footy oval and dozens of bushwalk routes, with seasonal opportunity for whale-watching.
- The local ferry goes to Cronulla where there are cafes, restaurants, night clubs and surf beaches.
Search for 'visiting bundeena' for more information.
The drive to/from the city of Sydney is around one hour. There is a ferry to/from Cronulla ever hour until 7pm in the summer, until 6pm in the winter. From Cronulla you can get a train to the city - total trip around 90-120 minutes depending on connections. If arriving from the airport, take the train to Cronulla and then ferry to Bundeena, but car is easier and quicker.
Bundeena is easy to walk around, everything is within walking distance.
You can also do tours of Port Hacking by ferry.
Search on 'cronulla ferries' for Ferry information.
Other things to note
Minimal kitchen supplies (eg tea/coffee/milk/sugar) are provided, please bring other supplies. The local IGA is a few minutes walk away (near the ferry wharf) and is open 8am to 8pm every day for groceries, fruit and veg and liquor.

About Belinda Allen
I have lived with my husband Chris in Bundeena for 28 years, bringing up our two sons who have now left home. We are artists and educators. We love photography, music, food, movies and travel, and believe you are never too old for the next adventure.
Why Belinda Allen chose Bundeena
We have owned our house near the beach in Bundeena for 28 years, after falling in love with the beaches and bush here. We built an art studio for our creative work, and have now renovated the studio to offer as accommodation for visitors.

I would like to thank Belinda and her husband for giving us the opportunity to stay at this great little studio perfect for a relaxing holiday really enjoyed our stay hope to be back some day.
Just what we needed
the perfect spot to stay while visiting family. Thanks Belinda
Thanks so much Lynda! Happy to have you, hope to see you again sometime :)
Well appointed garden studio
Very clean and comfortable with a pleasant outlook onto the garden. Walking distance to Jibbon Beach, ferry and shops. Good quality sheets and towels. Very peaceful spot apart from the occasional possum on the roof!
Quiet, private studio
This little studio is tucked away at the back of the main house. You have private access to come and go as needed. The studio is well appointed, with a tidy kitchen and bathroom. The deck looks out on a lush garden, and a perfect spot for a morning coffee.
The studio features all the amenities required to make a stay for two very comfortable.
The garden studio was perfect for the two of us. It had everything we needed. Belinda and Chris made us feel very welcome and the attention to detail was second to none.
The studio is located at the back of the main house. But don't let that put you off. The studio is very private and you have your own entrance/access to the studio.
The surrounding garden is lovely and the furnishings in the studio are very modern. The shower is superb and kitchen well stocked with amenities.
The studio is situated very close to beautiful Jibbon beach and the aboriginal carvings. It is also close to the wharf and local shops.
We did not have a car so location was key for us, and the studio was ideally located.
Thank you Belinda for your warmth and welcome and the lift to the wharf for the ferry.
Perfect weekend away
What a great getaway Bundeena is. So close to the city yet you feel like you are a thousand miles away - and what a perfect little place to stay. The studio had everything we needed and more! Bed was super comfy, shower great and the whole ambience of the place was wonderful. Books, board games, DVDs and CDs were nice added touches. We loved Belinda's artworks - so much so we ended up buying one! The location was perfect being only a minutes walk to the beautiful beaches and not far from the ferry and town.We will definitely be back.
