This all new, tastefully decorated condo located at Palmar offers all the comforts of home. The unit offers an open floor plan and has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. 2 Master Suites, both offering king size and huge spa like baths. There is a bedroom with 2 queen beds and the last bedroom has either 2 twin beds or can be converted to a king bed. This makes this condo a perfect option for a large family or several couples. The gourmet kitchen has all American appliances and is fully equipped with all the necessary culinary supplies. There is even an outdoor grill on the terrace. The 250 square foot terrace offers an outstanding view to the ocean, swimming pool and the beautiful gardens. There is also a wet bar and plenty of dining space for a family.

About Matt & Elizabeth WIlliamson/CozumelME

The owner of the great property is Stacey Burton, a Texas native through and through who fell in love with this wonderful Island of Cozumel 40 years ago. She is a PADI divemaster for 30 years and is a worldwide dive travel specialist now for 25 years. She has owned her own company Vacation Connection for 20 years and has a very special working relationship with Dive with Martin here in Cozumel for over 18 years.

One of the attractions for Stacey to Palmar is the great location and proximity to Dive with Martin. Having a long time and dedicated relationship, the condo being with-in walking distance was imperative.

Matt and Elizabeth were awesome from the point of booking to departure! They helped with info on car rental, dive recommendation, excursions, and shopping. Then we arrived and were sooooo happy to find a clean, modern, large one bedroom, fully equipped condo in the perfect location!! It was comfy, had great air conditioning, a great view, beautiful beach, was quiet, and had everything you could possibly want - making it feel like home away from home. The people that work at the condo complex were also wonderful. I left my car headlights on one night and they came to the condo to let me know. I unfortunately didn't hear them at the door, but the next morning they helped jump my car for me. We're so happy we didn't stay in a hotel or resort! This was so much more relaxing and private. Also, the location was perfect for diving - the boat picks you up right out at the private pier. When we go back, we won't change a thing in our planning - We'll stay at Matt and Elizabeth's place and dive with Scuba Life Cozumel.

Paradise With and Ocean View

I can't think of a better word to sum up Sharkey Shack 7H than WOW! From the overall spaciousness, beautiful finishes and impeccable cleanliness, I could not imagine a better place to stay in Cozumel. This unit has up to 4 bedrooms, modern kitchen with US style appliances, washer/dryer and a large balcony overlooking the spacious pool and ocean. You can walk downstairs to the convenience store, local restaurant or take a short cab ride into town. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Great gor kids and adults

We truly loved our stay at Sharkey Shack and intend to visit again! The condo itself is perfect with four bedrooms! Kitchen is very well stocked! And loved the washer and dryer. The pool is lovely, enjoyed the game room and the gym is decent. We will be back!

Great condo with beautiful view and pool

We have stayed in Sharky Shack 7 H numerous times and love the place. Full kitchen, great view from balcony with large swimming pool. Good location and proximity to restaurants, scuba diving and other adult and children activities. Best place in Cozumel and my wife and I have visited the island for 26 years.

Headline: Wonderful Condo and Great Management

My family recently stayed in this condo for my wedding in Cozumel and it could not have been a more perfect place for them! The condo was the perfect size for my family and it was very well equipped for their stay. The condo was perfectly clean and so very comfortable. The managers; Elizabeth and Matt had everything ready for their arrival and we had great communications about the stay. They were very gracious hosts and my family looks forward to staying again, next year!

Beautiful condo – Rude/uptight property managers

We stayed in this condo several weeks ago. It really is a wonderful property. The building is clean and nicely landscaped, and the condo itself is spacious and modern. The view from the balcony was lovely and we enjoyed watching the cruise ships come and go. We had two small kids with us (3 and 6 years old) and while there weren’t any toys or games for them (we brought some of our own), they had tons of fun swimming in the pool (which we often had to ourselves), playing tennis, playing on the swing set and in the little play house, and playing fuseball and ping pong. The trampoline unfortunately is not in great shape and we wouldn’t let them jump on it. But overall this property was lovely. No sandy beach to walk to, but we rented a car and went to several beaches over the course of the week so it all worked out.

Unfortunately the biggest downside of our trip was our encounter (not in person) with the property managers. We asked them to come mid-week to look at something about the showers, and when we returned in the afternoon we were greeted by a nasty 2-page note on the counter (complete with capital letters, underlines, and multiple exclamation points) complaining about the state of the condo. It was patronizing and rude – including the statement “we are shocked at the condition of our condo”. I couldn’t believe it (had we broken things unknowingly?), and exchanged emails with them to find out exactly what we had done wrong. It turns out the entirety of the “shock” was based on a piece of toast and some crumbs left on the counter (we left in a rush that morning) and a bed that we had moved and taken the mattress off so our daughter wouldn’t roll off onto the tile floor (something we fully intended to put back before we left). The managers then went on to scold us further, and said they pride themselves on their condo being “perfectly clean”. They knew fully well we were bringing small children with us, and as anyone who has ever had small kids knows, they tend to be messy. How are we supposed to keep the condo “perfectly clean” while I am staying there? Especially with two small kids? It was truly as if they had never gone into one of their properties while the tenant was there, and only saw it after their housekeeper had cleaned up. They said they were worried about bugs, and I understand that, but first, there was no information in the large binder they gave us on bug prevention, and second, the me

Owner's Response: Matt and I want to first thank these guests for selecting our wonderful Cozumel condo for their family vacation. We do pride ourselves on offering a premier property for our guests and we are honored when anyone chooses to stay with us. That being said, there are always two sides to a story and we want everyone reading this review understand that Matt and I provide our guests with a perfectly clean, well-stocked vacation home. We have always believed that all of our guests would appreciate our attention to details and would return the favor by treating our condos as they would treat their own home. We certainly realize that all of our guests are in vacation mode, but the condo has a dishwasher, it takes minutes to tidy up a kitchen and throw away uneaten food items. The condition of the condo in this particular situation is vastly understated by these guests in the above review and my note to these guests was on a single page of a small note pad. If we sounded harsh to them it is only because there was much more that just a piece of toast on the counter and we were truly surprised at the condition the condo was left for the day, especially since it had be professionally cleaned the day before. Matt and I have multiple responsibilities with our business starting with our guests comfort and happiness, to the owners by caring for their properties and to our next guests into the condo. We have been so fortunate over the last six years to have the opportunity to meet so many great people and to have so many wonderful guests. We appreciate all of our guests and we will look forward to many more years of success. We cannot regret our note to these guests as we honestly felt we had to course correct the situation. We are very happy to see that condo was left in completely acceptable condition the day these guests checked-out. The regret is that our wonderful property is not getting a proper star rating. We truly believe these guests not respectful of the property and we pointed that out to them and obliviously insulted them. We have shared this event with the owner of the condo along with photos we took of the condition and we have her full support on this matter and complete appreciation for caring for her valuable home. Read our many reviews for all of our properties. Matt and I are recognized for the hospitality we offer our guests before and during their stays. It is our pleasure to make our guests vacation happy and fun and we appreciate all of our guests.
