This place basically has 6 master bedrooms. Each one has its own bathroom with tub or shower. My family and I enjoyed our stay so much. Out of 13 of us there was Never a wait for a shower in the mornings. The river meets the property with a dark sand beach where we all waded out and swam daily. In the afternoon I fished for about an hour while my family all sat around and listened to music and talked, I ended up catching and releasing two catfish over five pounds each. And all I had was a hook and some night crawlers from the closest convenient store. One day we drove an hour to the hiwassee river and did a 3 hour float. So much fun. My wife and I ubered to downtown Chattanooga one night and had dinner and drinks, then ubered back, about $9 each way. I highly recommend this place for family vacations or even just a weekend getaway. We will be back!
The property is gorgeous and the space is as advertised. We used the location for a business retreat and the internet was fabulous! That's not a small amenity and is very appreciated.
I was in contact with the owners, and they were quite responsive. It made the planning and coordination so easy! I really appreciate all the help they gave and their amazing responsiveness.
The house is quite spacious and well set-up. Definitely highly recommended!
We took our youth group for our annual summer retreat!! We absolutely LOVED this place. The views are amazing! Very close to activities and attractions but has a secluded feel!! We will stay again!!
Very spacious. Everyone had space and privacy. Outside areas were well equipped and spacious. We had 10 adults and 2 children and everyone had an enjoyable time at the house, grounds, and river. Beautiful views and very close to area activities. Management was quick to respond to minor kitchen issue. We would definitely stay here again.
Our family (from different states) had an early Christmas get together at Tennessee River home. The setting is beautiful.....river and wide open spaces. Perfect for our group!
The open floor plan of the home is very nice for a larger group. Everything we needed was there. We did contact the owner about a small light issue and promptly received a reply. The home is only a short drive from downtown Chattanooga. We enjoyed the aquarium and dined at a local restaurant.
An especially nice touch for our weekend was the Christmas tree the owners had put up in the den. Very thoughtful!!!! Our family would definitely consider staying here again. This home is in a very peaceful and serene setting yet you are only a very short drive away from downtown Chattanooga and other attractions.
This six bedroom/six bathroom rental worked very well for our group of 12. The description of the site was exactly as stated. Our only problem was the ant situation. We had read about this previously and thought the situation had been attended to but the ants were waiting for us. Our food was already packaged in plastic but we had to double wrap and keep all food in the frig/microwave/oven to avoid ants swarming the counter tops. We found ant spray and used in around the perimeter of the house and in the kitchen and that seemed to ameliorate the problem. The unit was very clean so the ant situation isn't reflective of a poorly maintained rental. Also, though not mentioned, there isn't a dishwasher. Not the end of the world but we ate most of our dinners in and it would have been an additional convenience. During our stay a major storm went through and the hot water heater went out. Our contact, Vio Little, was available and provided exact directions for righting the problem which was much appreciated. Except for the ants, this is an ideal place to stay for a large group. One couple in our group is already thinking about renting it for a separate trip with her family.
