Three of us stayed in this apartment for a girls weekend in Chicago. It was perfect! Loved the cozy living room with dappled sunlight where we spent a relaxed evening. The remodeled kitchen is a wonderful breakfast place where we chatted and drank coffee before heading out. The L is in easy walking distance and we used it to go all over the city. The iconic pizza place Pequod's is right around the corner and there are tons of other restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. A grocery is just a block away. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. In previous years we have stayed in hotels down town but from now on I will stay here on our annual trips. I strongly recommend it.
My family of four (2 adults, 6 yr old and 7 yr old) had a great time staying here in Chicago. It was very spacious and well-equipped. It was very close to the train (about a 10-15 min walk), and just a block or so to the grocery store. We appreciated having a washer/dryer, coffee maker/grinder and the bath necessities provided for us. Rosemary was easy to work with and I would highly recommend staying here.
The place of very well kept and Rosemary is an outstanding hostess. Great place and good Lincoln Park location for a weekend out short stay in Chicago.
very convenient to Wrigley....great neighborhood that allowed for easy access to several great breakfast and dinner spots....perfect!
A group of family members came to Chicago for a cousin's wedding. We all stayed in this apartment together. I like how the three bedrooms are separated as with this many of us, it helped with privacy. The home is an older home so the woodwork and furnishings are lovely. The kitchen was updated and had everything we needed. The children enjoyed the screened in back porch and especially the park directly across the street. The owner and the Property Manager were very good about keeping in touch with us and answering questions. Easy Uber access to everywhere we wanted to go. Restaurants within walking distance. We had lunch at The Derby and it was delicious! The server/bartender was so much fun and took great care of us!
The only negatives were just one bathroom (but we knew that going in and worked around it just fine) and the steps from the first floor to the second floor where the apartment is located.
If we find ourselves in Chicago again, we would definitely rent this pretty apartment again.
We stayed on the 2nd floor and it was lovely. We like older charming homes and so this suited us beautifully. Everything was in perfect order, everything you'd need in kitchen, comfy beds with plenty of towels, extra linens, etc. Back porch was sun drenched in the morning and our early riser loved it. Easy cab & Uber downtown, to train that took us to Ravinia, and everywhere else. Walked to Chicago's best pizza at Pequods!! Lock to the upstairs door is tricky but easily mastered. Hope to visit again.
Great location, close to shopping, restaurants, night life, Wrigley Field. Easy walk to the "L" (red/brown/purple lines), 15 minutes ride to downtown Chicago, the Magnificent Mile, world famous museums and theaters. Minutes from the lakefront, Lincoln Park Zoo. Take in a game at Wrigley Field, visit the conservatory, stroll or bike along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline, relax at the beach, visit the attractions at Navy Pier. Tot lot on same block, several churches within walking distance. Wireless Internet is available. TV/Blu Ray player.
