Isle of Serenity sits in between a sublime beach and the nature parklands, tree and river vibe of Kananook creek. Literally all within a stone’s throw away to these attractions (2 doors to the beach) and a short walk from the urban City of the Frankston CBD and all this new city and vibe have on offer. Perfect for that getaway whilst still having all the creature comforts of life at your doorway. Long Island of Frankston is Victoria's hidden treasure only 50 minutes from the Melbourne CBD and the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula and all its wonders.

This stunning double storey house can easily accommodate three families and will certainly be the highlight of your trip. Secure parking on site although you don't necessary need a car by staying in this house as it is only a few steps to the white sand and ten minutes walk to Frankston CBD. Two out of four bedrooms are air conditioned.

Getting Around

It is walking distance to train stations and bus terminals and airport bus (within 10 minutes’ walk).

Other Things to Note

With one side of the road being sand (long beach) and the other side of the road being creek, Gould Street (#1 street in Frankston) is absolutely unique within the entire Port Phillip Bay.

The place is so close to everything, including Frankston Arts Centre, Frankston Sand Sculpture, Peninsula Aquatic Recreational Centre, Frankston Pier, Peninsula Hot Spring, Gunnamatta Trail Rides, Red Hill Wineries, etc.

The swimming pool , laundry facility, Secure Gate Parking and backyard garden maybe shared with the house on the same site as there are two houses on the same site, i.e. main house and guest house. Both houses have their own entrance and both are self-contained. If you wish to have the entire site for yourself, there is a list for the entire site which consists of two houses and can accommodate up to 17 people.


The house is carpeted. Unacceptable stains left on the carpet which can't be cleaned via the normal vacuum cleaning process will occur 100-200 dollars special carpet cleaning cost depending on the size of the stains.

House Rule: Party is not allowed and the noise level should be kept to as low as possible after 10:00PM. Government Issued ID is required prior to check in. Price is based on the total number of people coming not staying.

Unacceptable noise and/or behaviour will be reported to police. Exterior CCTV camera in operation to monitor the house entrance/access and to protect guest safety.

Two out of the four bedrooms are air-conditioned.

Good location but needs some basic maintenance.

Great location and we appreciated that the house was made available earlier than required on the day. Our expectation though was that the house was fully serviceable, however it needs some basic maintenance.

We would agree the house could be reasonably priced in this bracket however, it could do with an internal paint, new carpet and a good general clean including windows. Strongly recommend putting all the cups, plates knives and forks in the dish washer 1st. Also noted several power outlets and lights did not work, the TV need to be connected correctly to receive picture, the shower head did not hold position and possibly not all the bed linen had been changed. If maintenance was lifted, this rental property would offer an excellent holiday location.

Owner's Response: Thanks Colin for your feedback. The normal check in time is 2:00PM. However, we have agreed an early check in time at 10:00AM upon your request. The cleaner usually comes around 12:00PM if there is no check out on the day to give the house a final touch. For that day when we offered you an early check in at 10:00AM, I asked the cleaner not to come. Hence, there were one plate and one mug that were left in the sink (not washed). Your request for additional towels and dish washer tablets (enough left at the place) was provided within an hour. PS: I have paid the cleaner additional half an hour salary for him to drop you off these items immediately. Internal paint and new carpet are something we will look into. However, from the photo, they are still under reasonable condition. Carpet is routinely cleaned using professional equipment on a monthly basis. However, sometime, the previous guests left some stains which can't be cleaned straight after. TV is not checked everytime after a check out, and I will certainly include this in the cleaner's checklist. However, I went there after receiving your feedback and found the TV was working properly. The problem with the shower head hasn't been brought into my attention so far. Thank you for your feedback. I will have a look straight away. Linens are washed everytime after a guest check out even if the guest only stayed for one night. Again, I would like to thank you again for your feedback.
