Overview

Yarmouth Port House Rental Photos and Description

House, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Summer on the beautiful northside of Cape Cod along the winding, beautiful and historic Route 6A. The long, wide, warm and calm beaches of Cape Cod Bay are just 5 toe-dipping minutes away, the antiquing seems to be on every corner. A wide selection of fabulous and fun restaurants from Captain Frosty’s to Sesuit Harbor Café to Chapin’s to Gina's House. What are you waiting for? You should be here!

Rent this contractor’s showcase home in Yarmouth Port located 1/10th of a mile to the Dennis line and north of Route 6A. Perfectly maintained and laid out for your vacation, this three bedroom, two bath telescoping ranch, down the road from the Taylor-Bray Farm and Chase Garden Creek is available for weekly and long term rentals.

The kitchen and great room flow easily together for conversation and gathering, anchored by an oversized fieldstone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, skylights, kitchen island and sliding glass doors leading to a large multi-level deck.

Three bedrooms (2 with air conditioning) and two baths easily accommodate 6 people. The master suite with cathedral ceiling and skylights has its own private deck and a brand new over-sized designer bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. The property is set back from the road and a path through the woods in the back will take you to a few local shops for your provisions. An outdoor shower after the beach and before the BBQ on the deck completes the scene.

About Lynn Safarik

We have been vacationing on the Cape for 30 years and always dreamed of having our own home. We met the former owners of this home when we stayed at their motel, Sesuit Harbor House in E. Dennis. They had been renting the house and it was for sale. We fell in love at first sight, and bought it!

Lynn Safarik purchased this house in 2012

Why Lynn Safarik chose Yarmouth

This property was head and shoulders above any others we had looked at! We love the "retreat" feel with the privacy the deck affords, the way the house sits back off the road and the whirlpool tub and deck off the master bedroom, too!

Fantastic rental!

  • 5 of 5

Very cute house in a residential area about 5 minutes from beaches. Mayflower beach nearby was amazing! We loved staying at this place. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and a mother-in-law. Loved the giant tub! Owner was incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved that they had all the supplies needed for cooking lobsters. Kitchen was perfect. Great shops & restaurants nearby and a good position mid-Cape for visiting all sorts of places. If we visit the Cape again, I would definitely stay here.

Best on the Cape!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived and were greeted by the Kim and Jim who could not have been more friendly. The cottage was wonderful. It really made our visit to Cape Cod worthwhile. Next time we are heading up this way we definitely we be staying here. The living area was nice, and all three bedrooms comfortable. We rate this 10 out of 10

Awesome Get Away!

  • 5 of 5

Looking for a vacation rental online can be over whelming trying to make the right decision for your family. We couldn't have made a better one! Home is EXACTLY as described & more! Upon our late arrival, we were pleasantly welcomed by Kim & Jim. Providing us with all kinds of info on the area & even took the time to give us a tour of the home to make sure we knew where everythng was! Home is well maintained & CLEAN!! The large eat-in kitchen opened to the familyroom was great for our large family plus visiting Mass family members. Dishwasher is a big plus! The master bdrm has a KING size posterbed with a large double rod closet (including wooden hangers!). Master bath was very spacious & loved the huge jacuzzi tub! The guest bdrms have comfortable qn bed & twin trundle bed. Main bath is also very nice & included a front loading washer & dryer! Enjoyed the outside deck & quite backyard with vists from 2 cardinal birds in the morning. Garbage/Recycle can with lids were provided in the garage as well! Wonderful time rumaging thru antique & artisian galleries. Definately visit the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History & Scargo Tower! Great photo opprotunities! Beaches were near by even if Mother Nature didn't cooperate during our week stay...lots to do! Kim & Jim put together a wonderful 3-ring binder with endless information! Only regret we have is not staying longer & leaving. (We rented the first wk of Apr 2013 during NYS school vacation. Unfortuntaley. many places didn't open until the second wk of Apr.) We would recommend this vacation property without hesitation! Look forward to returning hopefully soon!
