Great spot on the lake
Our 2 families stayed here just before Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed the house and its fabulous level lawn down to the lake. We took a boat which was easy to moor on the jetty.
Heaps of space in this quality residence for us all, the kids especially loved the table tennis downstairs and the adults loved drinks on the verandah.
Just a few things.....air con wasn't working in the upstairs main bed, cushions needed for the trendy but uncomfortable dining chairs (inside and out), lash out and provide enough dishwasher tablets etc.
Beautiful House, Amazing view
Stayed there with the family and kids. Great entertainment for the adults and children. The house itself was massive and accommodating. Clean rooms clean toilets and with generous amounts of toiletries. We Had everything we needed to enjoy the trip available to us in the house. The bedrooms exceeded our expectations and where as per the images advertised except for the pillows in the master bedrooms... need to be changed for more comfort. My only recommendation and it’s not a complaint, there needs to be a small fence to keep the kids away from neighbouring properties and possibly a small trampoline to keep the kids at bay :). They kept trying to get to the next-door neighbours’ trampoline :) this is just my recommendations and nothing negative about the property itself. Overall will be back again there soon. I would highly recommend it to all.
Great Home for a Weekend Away
We had a wonderful stay at Adrift with the extended family for Fathers Day & my birthday. The home was lovely & clean, there was plenty of room for us to all spend time together or alone. Great grass area for the kids to kick a ball around or just play. The Jetty offered hours of entertainment with the kids watching the world go by or enjoying a spot of fishing. Great verandah for enjoying meals on or a cheese platter, highly recommend. We will be returning, thank you.
A very special place
We rented Adrift for 12 people: six kids, their parents, and grandparents. It was even better than we'd hoped. So much room, a glorious setting, everything you could want. Others have mentioned no wifi, but there are numerous TVs, a ping-pong table, that jetty and beautiful walks. What are you on holiday for if you need wifi? Bonus: passionfruit vine that we were told to help ourselves to! We shall return!
Very impressive property
We have enjoyed our stay at Adrift - everything was so well organized, clean, neat and tidy - just perfect for our stay. The only snag was that there was no wifi - it would be great if there was one!
Great location - poor services
Fantastic home. Could do with some good housekeeping. Internet Access was advertised - but that was misleading. Also pantry items did not include basics like sugar, salt, paper towels, dishwasher detergent and most of all NO toiletries in any bathrooms!! Really? In this day and age and at this price? Cobwebs and dead insects in alfresco area downstairs. Garbage bin 'reeked'....We weren't here to camp!
Thank you for your feedback Mary, your comments and recommendations have been taken on board. Dishwashing detergent is normally in good supply. Tea, coffee, sugar, toilet paper and hand soap are provided for the convenience of our guests. Adrift is not advertised with wifi, there is mobile service within the property and area, therefore allowing guests to use their mobile data on their electronic devices.
