What a great place for a quiet, weekend getaway from the city. This house couldn't have been more helpful in this regard: the house had everything you could need, comfortable and acres to explore. We grilled, sat around the fire pit and relaxed. We loved our time there and look forward to going back.
If you want a beautiful, tranquil setting, this is the place. This lovely, little house, is the place to go to get away from the world. It is cozy and comfortable, and well maintained. Everything you need is there, from a fully equipped kitchen, to the biggest collection of DVDs, books, and music CDs, I have ever seen.
The area is a great place to explore. You can hike right on the property or find trails nearby. The town of Livingston Manor is just a perfect representation of a small upstate NY town. Whatever you need is available there. Roscoe is nearby, with the "famous" Roscoe diner. Not to be missed! So, if you need to get away from it all, this is the place.
This is our second time at bluestone cottage and it didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend making our outdoor weekend a more indoor one but the cottage is well equipped with movies and books to help pass the time. Last year the weather was perfect and the hiking on the property was great. The cottage is clean, inviting and comfortable.
Absolutely wonderful home and property for a getaway weekend. We loved exploring the grounds and the highlight of the trip was walking through the beautiful creek. Was truly beautiful to end each night around the fire pit and enjoy every meal from the brand new grill.
Everything was clean, well stocked and beautiful! Wonderful experience!
Stayed for 3 nights and had a great time. Felt right at home and enjoyed the fantastic nature around us. Highly recommended.
Our family had a great 2 night stay at PattiAnn's property. The house is well-maintained and clean, and the deck was great for BBQ's or a cup of morning joe. The property itself is great. Our little girls had a great time sitting around the fire pit making smores and exploring the woods around the house. The property next door also has some very friendly miniature and regular-sized horses who came up right to the fence so our girls could pet them. Highly recommend.
