Charming cottage with lovely grounds

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time over Memorial Day weekend at the bluestone cottage. It is a charming cottage with lovely grounds surrounded by an extensive wooded area. The cottage had everything we needed including great collection of books and DVDs for the rainy day that kept us inside. We could hear the sound of the nearby brook while on the deck or at the fire pit. We hope to return soon.

Private and Quiet Getaway

  • 5 of 5

What a great place for a quiet, weekend getaway from the city. This house couldn't have been more helpful in this regard: the house had everything you could need, comfortable and acres to explore. We grilled, sat around the fire pit and relaxed. We loved our time there and look forward to going back.

Perfect Getaway

  • 5 of 5

If you want a beautiful, tranquil setting, this is the place. This lovely, little house, is the place to go to get away from the world. It is cozy and comfortable, and well maintained. Everything you need is there, from a fully equipped kitchen, to the biggest collection of DVDs, books, and music CDs, I have ever seen.

The area is a great place to explore. You can hike right on the property or find trails nearby. The town of Livingston Manor is just a perfect representation of a small upstate NY town. Whatever you need is available there. Roscoe is nearby, with the "famous" Roscoe diner. Not to be missed! So, if you need to get away from it all, this is the place.

Private and cozy cottage

  • 4 of 5

This is our second time at bluestone cottage and it didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, it rained all weekend making our outdoor weekend a more indoor one but the cottage is well equipped with movies and books to help pass the time. Last year the weather was perfect and the hiking on the property was great. The cottage is clean, inviting and comfortable.

Wonderful holiday getaway home

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely wonderful home and property for a getaway weekend. We loved exploring the grounds and the highlight of the trip was walking through the beautiful creek. Was truly beautiful to end each night around the fire pit and enjoy every meal from the brand new grill.

Everything was clean, well stocked and beautiful! Wonderful experience!
