Location: You have it all in La Cruz. You have the peace and quiet of your own villa right on the ocean, yet centrally located between all the popular hot spots to visit. The Puerto Vallarta Airport is only 12 miles away. Attend the hugely popular 'Sunday Market' on the marina front. 100's of people come for miles to attend this weekly event (Nov -April). You can also hit other nearby towns via a short bus or boat ride or drive. The city bus stop for all these places is just a few blocks away.
La Cruz is a great 'central' location, as it is midway between Puerto Vallarta to the south, and Punta Mita at the far end of the bay to the north.
Punta Mita is home to the famous Jack Nicklaus signature designed golf course and the exclusive Four Seasons Hotel complex. Other nearby towns include Bucerias with great authentic Mexican restaurants and shopping, or Nuevo Vallarta and Marina Vallarta. Also enjoy the brand new multi-million dollar marina built within a stones throw of the villa. Stroll the stops or eat at the restaurant surrounded by water!
This unit was built in 1998. The best thing about this unit is it's location of direct beachfront with it's own private pool and yard only for your group. It's also so convenient to town, restaurants, the marina and more. Easy walking distance! This is a great deal for a direct Beachfront unit with private pool and yard.
From Minnesota. Have managed this and our othe 3 PV properties since then.
We'd love to add you to our family of repeat guests.
(prefer e-mail inquiries please - Quick Reply!) purchased this villa in 2002

Overall the property was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortable, clean, and romantic. It is well represented in the photos. We did not want to leave!
Great rating all around! What we liked about it?
1 - The house - good open air kitchen setup, nice living room / dining area, wonderful pool area, nice hammocks under the palapa. New washer/dryer. Fans that help circulate air everywhere!
2. The beach - amazingly clean and wave free beach. Just perfect if you have kids who want to play and frolick in the sand and "surf" all day. We had three 4-year old toddlers and they loved it. Best clean beach in the northern PV area
3. The Town - La Cruz is definitely a mexican village, and is for those who want to be off the beaten path. Not for those who want a resort or tourity vibe. Yet even here, restaurants we want to were amazing and many were run by ex-pats and served people from all around. The Heladeria on the town square makes popsicles that you will never find anywhere else - its that good. And the fact that the fish market/ fishermen dock right next to the house!
Joni: The best! Made it all easy
Everyone loved your place. It was just as advertised - awesome!
We would definitely recommend you to anyone traveling to La Cruz / PV.
Your staff were very attentive and helpful.
We hired the chef for one evening and the meal they prepared was superb.
We didn't want to leave, so we will be returning.

Our stay at your villa in La Cruz was wonderful. We were very glad that we didn't stay at a hotel or condo in Puerto Vallarta. The property was clean and as described, however we discovered there wasn't a really comfortable place to sit in the house. We had everything that we needed and Patti was very quick to get us anything we requested. We ate at many of the restaurants in La Cruz including The Oyster Bar and Brick House right next door, Black Forest - delicious German food, Frascati, and Xocolat to name a few. There is a place called "Hidden Paradise" a short walk down the beach where the fresh seafood was very good and the drinks were terrific - in fact we met Joni's insurance agent there. We at at Toscana Mia - great Italian, and a couple of the beachfront places in Bucerias. All were very good. Further out we went to Don Pedro's on the beach. Our visits into PV included dining at The Blue Shrimp - I would not recommend this one, and Le Kliffe. Our family visited Sayulita and Punta Mita as well. We took excursions with Vallarta Adventures to snorkel, kayak, and swim at La Marietas; take a high speed boat ride, ride in a 4x4 truck, ride a donkey, go zip lining and rappelling all on the Outdoor Adventure tour - FANTASTIC!; to visit the old town of San Sebastian, a tequila factory, and a coffee grower; and finally to The Rhythms of the Night - a romantic evening with a great show and a candlelight dinner on the beach. All of the tours were fantastic and they have a buy 2 get one free. The fourth one we got as a reward for listening to a timeshare presentation. We really enjoyed the pool and walking the beach. The beach directly in front of the villa is pretty messed up by the fishermen but a short walk down the shore and it is pleasant. The Marina next door has a fun farmers market every Sunday. We would definitely recommend this villa to others.
The grounds were beautiful and very well-maintained. The interior of the home is stunning! Lots of windows overlooking a beautiful pool and cabana area, with the trees and ocean beyond that. Just breathtaking! The bedrooms were spacious and private. Very large gathering area and good size kitchen. The cleaning service was thorough and never felt intrusive. The area felt safe to go for a run or long walk and there were smaller shops nearby. I would absolutely recommend this property to a friend or relative!
We stayed here with our two children and a friend and her two kids. We were very happy with the house. It was very clean and well maintained. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the pool looks over the water. As you look out you see sail boat and fish boats. The master bedroom is large and walks out to the pool. With in an hour of our arrival we were greeted by her manager to answer any questions we had. There is many brochures and such with information about what to do, where to go and where to eat. There is many different little towns to see. We rented a car and saw many places. The kids were never bored and say to this day it was the best vacation they have ever had. I would definitely recommend this place and I plan on visiting again.
La Cruz is a great growing area. It’s about 12 miles north of the Puerto Vallarta airport in the more newly developed end of the Bay of Banderas. La Cruz is a town of about 1 square mile which started out as a small fishing village. Although the fishermen still continue the tradition and bring their fresh catches in every day for you to purchase directly, there is now a lot more going on than that. In 2009, La Cruz finished a brand new marina. It’s said to be the biggest of the 3 marinas in the Bay. The marina has shops and restaurants and entertainment. The construction of the marina has brought in many new and exciting things to the town too, such as lots of new restaurants, shops, bars and entertainment. On most Sundays you’ll find the La Cruz Open Market which lines the marina with over 100 vendors and draws 100’s of people from around the Bay to see the unique goods that are offered such as hand made jewelry, fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, sauces, hand made hair ornaments and much more. The restaurants vary from things such as the doctor who opens his house on weekends to make brisket type meat tacos with delicious sauce choices, to upscale restaurants with world class chefs on staff. There are also wonderful locals who give great services for things such as massages in house, in house chef and much more. You’ll leave having Mexican friends!
Guests love the location of this because it's on the edge of town so very easy to walk to anywhere in the town which is about a square mile. Looks are deceiving in this fishing village. Behind the doors you'll find lots of activity, beautiful Mexican architecture, surprising stores and restaurants. Ever since the new marina was built about 5 years ago - lots of new things have come to this town to accommodate the large volume of boating activity. Come experience this town and it's authentic Mexican feel.
