WE WALK TO A TOMMY BAHAMA TYPE COFFEE SHOP, CAN GET GOOD FRESH NEW YORK BAGELS, FABULOUS SEAFOOD OR REAL AUTHENTIC FRENCH DESERTS. PUBLIX IS AROUND THE CORNER. LUNCH WE WILL EITHER EAT AT HOME OR WALK TO FLAGLER. DINNER ARE SO MANY GREAT PLACES THAT YOU WONT GET TO THEM ALL. WE LIKE TO COOK AS WELL AND WILL GRILL AND EAT IN. THREE GRILLS TO CHOOSE FROM AT THE HOUSE. THE WAY THE HOUSE IS SET UP IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND LAYED OUT FOR RELAXATION, THE KIDS HAVE PLENTY OF SPACE AT THE HOUSE AND THINGS TO DO THAT YOU MAY FORGET THERE WITH YOU. SCOOTER, GOLF CART, VERY SERENE COMMUNITY AND FRIENDLY.
My husband and I booked this home to have our 3 adult children, 2 sons-in-laws, and 2 grandchildren together to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. We were more than pleased with this beautiful home! Large enough for us to spread out, but room enough to gather to play games and watch movies together too! The property manager went above and beyond when she met us at the house 3 hours later than we had originally thought (traveling 800 miles with 2 toddlers slowed us down greatly!). She was more than welcoming and extremely pleasant! She gave us a quick tour, explained the few necessaries then left us to start on our vacation! My family enjoyed the close 3 block walk to the beach, the fabulous pool (and all the floats and pool toys provided), and the friendliness of the neighborhood! We enjoyed walking to Flagler St. daily to shop and eat at many of the awesome restaurants! We could not have asked for anything more - other than more vacation time! The home was in great condition, very clean and had all the necessaries to make it feel like home!
We just spent a week here for Spring Break and the house was great! It's large with lots of room to spread out. Clean. Bedrooms are very spacious! 4 bathrooms are plenty for a big group. The location is within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and very close to the beach! If we choose NSB for our vacation destination again, I'll look to book this one! Great experience!
The property itself is a nice location. It would have been nicer if the rental managers let us know in advance that there was intense construction on the road during the entire week of our stay. Ends were blocked, it was not a pretty sight, and the early morning noises and ground vibrations made it impossible to sleep in or rest.
The house was visibly dirty upon first entering, with thick gobs of accumulated dust/dirt on closet doors, vents, on baseboards, in corners, around furniture, etc. The house smelled like bacon and had grease splatters all over the wall and stove and counter in the kitchen. The carpeted areas and throw rugs were filthy with stains. There was old cereal peaking out from under the couches. Bathrooms had visible black mold, which needed cleaned before they could be used. My son was going to leave to stay in a hotel but we decided to clean the whole house before we even got started with our vacation. We sanitized and wiped down all of the bathrooms and the furniture and the kitchen. One bed had filthy sheets with black stuff and hairs and crusted stuff all over it. The linens were old and stained. What use to be white towels were now gray. We had to go buy new towels and washcloths. Everything we pulled out of the cupboards to use was also filthy. The furniture, linens, pillows, etc needed updated and/or replaced due to excessive wear. And there needs to be more thorough cleaning and repair done to this house. The garbage disposal was not working, closet doors were broken, and some of the doors to the patios were very cheaply constructed and felt like they would break if pushed on too hard.
For what we paid for the house (for one week it was more than triple our monthly mortgage) I was so disappointed. I would never stay in this house again or rent from this company. We actually cut our trip short three days because we could not stand to be there any longer. What a waste of money!
We have 6 children ages 6-15. We were comfortably able to give everyone space that worked for "their age". Every grouping had their private bath, and we were able to seperate out noise for those that stayed up later or were early risers! Great living room/dining/ kitchen set up for comfortable living and the HUGE outdoor upper deck was amazing! Loved having the pool and the property manager was responsive to any need or question we had. The proximity to beach, shopping (both botiques and "practical" shopping), and activities was ideal. The laundry, blankets, towels, beach supplies, and kitchen extras are better than any other house we have rented! I've said this house helped create one of the most relaxing vacations since we have had children!
We recently visited for a family vacation that included lots of children and three families. There were 10 in total and it was the perfect house for all of us! We could be together or not, depending on what we wanted. It's very nice layout, plenty of everything you need like blankets, towels, pool toys, beach toys and very clean. It's only a short walk to the beach and the beach is beautiful. We loved our visit here and hope that we can come back. Thanks for a great stay!
Our stay at the house was one of the best vacation spots we have stayed in. We took our children and 5 grandsons and the house was such a great fit! The boys love staying in "the big house"! We all loved the pool and the closeness of the beach. The perfect house! The only bad thing about the stay was the itty bitty bugs that would bite us around the pool. You could hardly see them, but oh could they bite! We had a stock of bug spray we used. :) However, that would not keep us from coming back!
