5 stars for location - perfect for walking the town and to dinner at night. The apartment is comfortably small, well appointed, and had everything we needed. One word of caution, the stairs are steep & narrow. If you have mobility issues or are married to big/heavy luggage when traveling, this may not be the spot for you. It was perfect for us, plus we appreciated Duncan’s responsiveness to our questions.
Very comfortable and well equipped , being away from a TV was good for us. We were warmly greeted and assisted with getting our luggage upstairs. The neighbourhood is great and very easy to get around. Our bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom absolutely fine.
We had a very nice stay for two nights in early Sept, visiting Boston before a long cruise. The 'walk-up' was a little tough due to our large luggage but worth it. Apartment was cute (a bit small) and very clean. It was also quiet and had all everything needed (kitchen wares, bath goodies). No TV was a bit odd but never missed it; had a good internet connection. Location was also very nice; quaint neighborhood but still within easy walking distance to Commons area and even North area. Would stay here again (and save a bundle over area hotels). Safe Travels to All.

Great location, great place. Clean and lovely! Located near Boston Common and Public garden. Duncan was a great host. He was helpful with directions, and all of our needs. Carried our bags up (4 flights) and provided coffee and champagne for our celebration. Would defenately recommend and would stay again!
The apartment is compact and it does not have the central air conditioning, although there is a substitute. I especially liked the sunny bathroom with the nice big window. The place could have not been at the better location. We were in the middle of the city and everything was just a pleasant walk away. We never even used the subway, there was no need for it. We used the taxi once just to get to Harward university. The apartment is located in a lovely, quiet and secure neighborhood. Would definitely recommend it.
