Oh, and an outdoor shower - with hot and cold water - to wash the sand off is easily accessed via a secret panel on the Airstream.
Set within Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park, you’ll have exclusive use of the Airstream and its awning covered patio with café table and chairs; a Weber Q. is also part of the décor. If you feel like a workout, the park’s gym is free to use as is the large tropical pool. Washing machines and dryers are available for a small ‘pay as you use’ fee. PS: onsite parking (i.e., at the Airstream) is also provided for 1 vehicle and you’re just a short easy walk from the local bakery, bottle-shop, Woolworths, medical centre and Mission Link bus service.
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
We will of course show you the ins and outs of the Airstream upon your arrival, but you'll not see us otherwise, unless you want to :-) We respect your privacy, but we reside close by and are available if you need help.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The Airstream (we call her ‘The Beach Bullet’) has been meticulously set-up for couples - and for individuals - who want to enjoy some quiet luxury in paradise. For this reason, bookings aren't available for any more than two people.
Events Beyond Control: The Beach Bullet is not responsible for any loss arising out of any occurrences or conditions beyond its control, including but not limited to acts of terrorism, act of God, war, strikes, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disorder, disaster, severe weather events (which can cause power outages), Government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule. All travel documents, observance of laws and government regulations are your responsibility.
No pets. No smoking inside or within the immediate vicinity of the Airstream; however smoking is allowed within the grounds of the caravan park.
A noise curfew begins at 10.30pm for all who are staying with the caravan park. Note: The park’s on-site owners (Angie & Peter) are lovely; so please feel free to seek them out; their park (Tropical hibiscus Caravan Park) has the ‘highest guest rating’ (TripAdvisor & a popular search engine) of all the caravan parks in Mission Beach.
What’s not to love about the Mission Beach region? 14kilometres of pristine beach beaches; World Heritage rainforest; the Great Barrier Reef; the islands; Paronella Park; the famous Monster Markets; hiking; Charley’s Chocolate Factory… and then there’s the water sports: swimming, white-water rafting; fishing; sea-kayaking; jet-skiing etc.; and even then there's more to do and see, including taking the plunge and skydiving. And if none of those appeals, then you can always BBQ some local grass-fed Bingil Bay beef while you enjoy the vino you found at the local Murdering Point Winery.
Mission Beach is made up of four beach villages linked by 14 kilometres of wide golden beach. If you’re travelling by car (or hiring one in Mission Beach), it’s almost impossible to get lost. The villages are also serviced by ‘Mission Link’, a locally owned and operated bus service that’s pet friendly and offers (from May 1, 2016) a daily Cairns Airport return service. So, if you’re flying into Cairns, search online for ‘Mission Link at Mission Beach’ for timetables and more information.
Your Airstream accommodation is just a short easy walk to the local bakery, bottle-shop, Woolworths, medical centre and the Mission Link bus service.
