Outstanding Service

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I flew from Brisbane to stay for 3 nights in Early Jan 2018. Everything about our stay was perfect. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provided us with everything we needed including beautiful fresh bread, granola, and fruit. The cottage is beautifully furnished, with high quality appliances and the most comfortable bed! The addition of lovely big Bernardo, the family dog, was also very welcome surprise.

Location wise the cottage is conveniently close to three local wineries which are all a short walk away. Overall such a beautiful cottage and the most relaxing trip away we have had in a long time.

Best 1 night getaway ever!

  • 5 of 5

My partner and I absolutely loved our 1 night getaway at the cottage. With only a 1 hour drive from Melbourne this was the perfect distance for a quick get away to relax and unwind. The cottage is positioned in an equestrian school so there are plenty of horses around. The cottage is extremely comfortable with all the amenities you would need. Split system aircon/heating, comfy electronic bed with remote to adjust the bed to your liking, large modern TV, kitchenette with oven, coffee machine, toaster and so much more. The cottage was clean and there were even bath robes and slippers awaiting for us in the bathroom. It had the luxuries of a 5 star hotel but located in the beautiful picturesque hills of the yarra valley. Our favourite part of the entire getaway was that it was located within 10 minutes walk of 3 wineries. In our short stay we were able to check out 2 of them, (paynes rise and whispering hills). Paynes Rise is more suited if you are wanting music, and a more energetic vibe (there were a few hens and wine tour busses there). Whispering hills is a little more cosy and smaller and more suited for a relaxing drink.

Thanks to Angela for looking after us, she was a wonderful host :).

Our first night as Mr & Mrs

  • 5 of 5

We loved our little cottage for the first night as a married couple. Our family were staying around the corner at the Wandin Park Estate which was perfect and close also. Lots of attention to detail including beautiful soaps and candles as well as a lovely breakfast provided from local suppliers!

Awesome stay and surrounded by wineries

  • 5 of 5

Awesome place in the middle of an equestrian school. The cottage was really nice and well equipped with everything we needed. The owners are really lovely and went above and beyond when I forgot to tell them my partner was gluten intolerant and organised some gluten free goodies.

It's also really close to some great little wineries (walking distance) and a short drive to some of the bigger ones. Well worth a stay.
