About the property

THE HOME

Your family, couple or travel group will be the only occupants of this residence. The home is fully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen with all utensils. The lounge has a large screen TV, a BlueTooth linked sound system, a Blu-ray player, and cable television (Foxtel basic + Sports channels). WiFi Internet is provided and reverse cycle air conditioning/heating is installed in the living area.

Two bedrooms have queen size beds; the third has a single bed plus pull-out bed. All bedrooms have drawers and wardrobes with hangers; bedroom 1 has its own aircon/heater and the others each have a heater and fan. There is also a cot suitable for a child up to 2y.o., and a portacot available suitable for infants up to 10 months. The laundry has a washer, a dryer and ironing facilities. Your linen and bath towels are provided.

The backyard is fully fenced and features a pleasant garden, relaxing outdoor furniture, and a barbecue for your use. A water tank supplies water for the garden, and solar panels supplement the electricity needs.

Extras include a selection of books, board games and DVDs; a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and shower gels in the bathroom; and a range of teas and coffees (including a plunger). We can also provide a "basics pack" of milk, cereal, bread etc for your arrival if you wish.

YOUR HOSTS

Your hosts live a short walking distance away. We will greet you on arrival and provide all necessary information, and then you will be left in peace to enjoy your stay. However we will available to assist you quickly if the need arises.

THE LOCATION

Carine is a pleasant and green residential neighborhood. The home is directly opposite a small park; four minutes down the road is yet another park with playground equipment.

It is only a short 7 minute walk to the massive Carine Open Space. This park has many kilometres of walking paths where you will meet families, cyclists, birds, joggers and many friendly dogs. On the weekends you can watch games of cricket, AFL football, soccer or baseball, depending on the season, or meet the horses at the Riding for Disabled facility.

It's a six minute drive to Perth's fantastic beaches. Nearby is Carine Glades Shopping Centre, and it is only slightly further to the large centres of Karrinyup and Warwick. Karrinyup Private Golf club is a few minutes away by car; the Hamersley public course is 8 minutes away. Reid Highway and the Mitchell Freeway to the city are quickly accessible.

GETTING AROUND

The home is within walking distance of the Warwick train/bus station (about 18 mins). The train gets you to Perth city in 15 mins or to Joondalup in 12 mins. For an adventure, take the train to Mandurah and back - it's 1hr 10m one way.

The 423 bus takes you to Hillarys Boat Harbour and its great shops and eating places (or you can drive in 13 mins). Hillarys is also a departure point for ferries to Rottnest Island.

Parking at the home can accommodate 3 cars. The lockable garage accepts small to medium cars only, otherwise you can park next to the front door.

SAFETY

There are external sensor activated lights for your security and convenience. Inside there are two smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher, plus a fire blanket in the kitchen.

TERMS

When making a booking, infants who will be using our cots (or a cot you provide) do not have to be counted as extra children, although you should advise us in text when making a booking or an enquiry. Otherwise "children" are people under the age of 16. Note - bookings for more than 6 persons older than 2 y.o. will not be accepted. We have 4 beds with 6 bed spaces and will not approve persons sleeping outside the bedrooms.

Late night check-ins are not a problem. Early check-in may be able to be arranged if there were no guests the previous night. Checkout is officially 10AM, but if no guests are coming that night you will be able to make this a bit later.

Pets may be allowed; this will require approval from the owners. If pets stay you may be charged an additional fee for carpet cleaning. Pets will generally be expected to stay outside the home unless otherwise agreed.

Please respect the property and the other people in the area - as always treat others as you would expect to be treated yourself! The house is not to be used for parties, events or gatherings without the prior express approval of the owners, and loud noises should not be made after 10PM. Also note there is no smoking inside the residence.

Our home is comfy, quiet, and well located for a suburban stay. The home has a nice secure backyard good for children and there is a park directly across the road, with other large parks nearby. We provide pay-TV, unlimited internet and small touches like DVDs, books and games for kids.

What makes this house unique

You can have a restful stay here, but be close to the freeway and beaches if you need to get about. Only 27 mins from the airport and walking distance to the train station.

Great place for a holiday

A really lovely home with every amenity provided. Very conveniently located to beaches, trains and freeway Lloyd was very obliging and was available for any problems which were none. Lovely outside areas for sitting and B.B.Q.
