My husband Tom and I have lived on Grand Island for most of our lives. We know and love this area because of it's natural beauty and plentiful activities. Tom is a naturalist and sportsman who has been birding, fishing, boating and hunting the Niagara Region his entire life. I love to hike ,bike and run the many beautiful places on Grand Island and Niagara Falls.
We are excited to open up this very special home to our guests and know that you will enjoy the serene country setting.
Our home has the privacy of a quiet neighborhood while still being 10 mins from the Falls and 5 minutes from all the conveniences you need for a wonderful vacation.
Our home offers a quiet retreat after a long day of sightseeing. Grand Island is unique because it is surrounded by the Niagara River offering plentiful areas to enjoy the water. It is the perfect place to enjoy the Niagara area!
My family of 7 (including my husband and I, and both adult children and children under 10) stayed in this wonderful house. Nancy and Tom were a delight to work with and stayed in touch with us through the planning process. Tom met us at the house and gave us a warm welcome.
The house was very clean and well maintained. There was a map of Niagara Falls which he kindly reviewed with us and told us of other local things to do. Nancy informed us of some of the festivals going on that weekend which was appreciated. There was cheese and fruit awaiting us and even popsicles for the kids. These extra touches were very thoughtful.
They were very accomodating and very fair and thoughtful in their interactions.
This was the first time we have rented a house and they made the experience extremely positive and something I would do again without hesitation.
We built great memories at this house with our family, and this will go down as one of the best family vacations we have had. Thanks so much Tom and Nancy for contributing to a very memorable, enjoyable vacation.
At first, the outside of the house didn't seem all that great, so when we went inside it was a very pleasant surprise! The owners were also very kind in telling us all the shortcuts and must-see spots nearby. The brunch inn nearby was amazing, it was a shame we could only go once since they are not open on weekends!
It was nice place and very clean! The owner was very responsive when I had a question. I would recommend this if you are looking for a place near Niagara Falls or Buffalo.
Nancy and Tom were prepared for our arrival. Tom was waiting for us in front and helped us set up the fire pit and everything.
This location is great and is very close to the falls with 10 minutes drive. The grocery store (TOPS) is a few minutes away so it was convenient for us to get any supply. The AC system is a little loud at nights.
Thanks, Nancy and Tom. Great communication too.
Cute cottage. Wonderful hosts. Left us a fire in the fire pit. We were so comfortable. Great proximity to the falls. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻
