This property offers a standard of luxury rarely found as a holiday accommodation. Glenora represents resort living at its best. The original historic building has recently undergone a total restoration and re-birth as a modern 5 bedroom family home. Architecturally designed and delivered in a sympathetic style in keeping with its original 1882 character.
No expense has been spared in creating this luxuriously modern, beautifully streamlined home. It brings the outdoors indoors, in an effortless manner. With the focal point being the spacious, light filled, open plan family living area overlooking a 9mtr fully tiled solar heated in-ground pool.
Glenora can easily accommodate 10 guests in extreme comfort. It has one King sized bed in the master bedroom with ensuite including bath and shower. A second extremely large bedroom with Queen bed with ensuite including bath and shower. Upstairs are three more bedrooms - one a Double bed and the two others each have a King Single bed with a single trundle (upstairs rooms are children bedroom decor). There is also a third bathroom upstairs to service these three bedrooms.
There are two living zones - one in the open plan area overlooking the swimming pool and garden with huge flat screen TV. There is a second living room at the front of the house which is ideal for the kids with a huge flat screen TV and selection of DVDs to keep them entertained. To further entertain the kids there is a large trampoline and basketball ring.
Trams are a two minute walk to the city and the property is situated conveniently 20 minutes from the airport by car or taxi. Local trams, trains and buses are readily accessible and approximately 25-30 minutes to the CBD and the best of Melbournes tourist attractions.
Car hire through Green Share Car can be booked online and the car collected at the pick-up point which is a 200mt away. Cars can be hired by the hour or day at competitive prices.
Eating and shopping
Supermarkets walking distance include Gervasi Foodworks, IGA, Coles and Woolworths supermarkets. Restaurants are also within a short walk and include the very popular The Post Office Hotel and 229 Dining Hall, The Woodlands Hotel and a range of Indian and Turkish restaurants. A 5 minute tram ride down Sydney Road to Brunswick or Lygon Street provides a wide selection of trendy independent funky boutiques, clothing shops, restaurants and cafes. Another 15 minutes on the tram and you are at the Queen Victoria Market and in the heart of the CBD.
Glenora residence provides you with easy access to Melbournes best sporting events and tourist sites including the Melbourne Cup and spring racing carnival events, Australian Open tennis, Grand Prix, museums, zoo, Arts Centre and Crown Casino.
Please note this is a non smoking property. Stricktly no pets and no large groups of people under the age of 25.

The house was impeccable! A beautiful setting to accommodate my bridal party and mum before my wedding day. The owners were extremely accommodating in every way, I could not say one negative word about our stay. The kind of house dreams are made of. HIGHLY recommended!
