Welcome to Cape Winds 508 – Part of the Stay in Cocoa Beach Family.

Enjoy the BEST view in the building on your wrap-around balcony. This Penthouse, Corner unit faces both east and south, meaning you DIRECTLY face the ocean and have the Sun on your balcony ALL day.

This unit was completely renovated in December 2010 to include a new kitchen, complete with granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, new cupbaords, etc. As well, new tile floors were installed along with a new 50' Plasma Tv.

Unit 508 has a king bed in the master bedroom, two twins in the guest bedroom and a pull-out sofa in the living room. In addition, everything you need is provided such as a full kitchen, all linens/towels, beach accessories, etc.

Enjoy all of the amenities (at no cost) the Cape Winds building has to offer such as tennis courts, a basketball course, heated pool & hot-tub, Wi-Fi, etc. We also provide beach accessories for your enjoyment.

By renting with the Stay in Cocoa Beach Family, you are guaranteeing yourself an easy, hassle-free vacation and booking process. We are available for you to call at any time (we always provide you with our home-phone number and cell phone) and are always happy to answer any questions you may have. Together, my siblings and I have been renting units in the Cocoa Beach area for over 5 years. We encourage you to review all the comments made in our different units guest-books, you will not find a dissatisfied customer.

Cape Winds is perfectly located right at the edge of Cape Canaveral & Cocoa Beach, an extremely quiet and peaceful white sand beach, just north of the Cocoa Beach Pier (1 mile) and south of the Kennedy Space Center (2 miles). Cape Canaveral is also just an hour from Orlando and Disney.

A great oceanfront choice

This was our second visit to the condo so we knew what to expect & weren't disappointed. If I was being critical I'd say it could do with one extra chair in the living room when 4 people are staying, but we love the position in the building, beach location, wrap-around balcony for all-day sunshine, great pool facilities and the laid back Cocoa Beach area. We are never short of things to do and places to shop and eat or just enjoy the coastline, plus a day trip to Orlando is real easy - Typhoon Lagoon and Downtown Disney for us this time. We hope to be back someday.

What a wonderful Condo

This condo was exactly what we were hoping it would be. We loved the views and the location. Everything listed in the description was spot on. We were a little wary about it being too goo do be true but when we arrived in the Cape Winds Resorts we were blown away by the condo. It was clean when we arrived and contained all the necessities needed for a week away from home.

The kitchen was stocked with the needed kitchenware allowing us to have a few meals at the condo. We even made use of the grills that are on the property one evening for some grilled steaks. The condo is equipped with washer and dryer allowing us to wash our clothes daily, which was very much needed after several trips to the beach. The resort itself was a bit dated, but was great for our family. The kids loved that the beach was within walking distance and that the pool was also a choice, especially the hot tub.

Drew was even fantastic when I contacted him a few days before our scheduled departure to inquire about an extra night. He took care of it immediately and we were able to enjoy our vacation a little while longer, that made our children extremely happy.

Our family loved this area and the condo so much the kids can not wait to go back. Looks like we found a place to visit yearly.

Modern Condo With an Impressive View

Choosing a rental condo is a personal decision with many variables to take in consideration. I know what is important to my wife and myself. I spent countless hours researching condo rentals that hopefully would meet our needs. Cape Winds Unit 508 has everything we were looking for.

I was looking for a condo with a nice balcony and a killer ocean view that would provide a sun starved northerner sunshine throughout the day. Ideally in a newer updated clean condo. Affordability and convenience was important too. 508 came through on all points.

Drew's pictures of the view don't do the condo justice. As soon as you first step foot inside the condo and look outside you will be immediately awestruck. The view is truly impressive and breathtaking. My wife and I spent almost every waking hour on the balcony taking in the view.

The unit was clean, comfortable and well stocked with towels, blankets, extra pillows, beach chairs, and beach toys for children. The kitchen has everything you will need for your stay. There wasn't one thing missing that required me to go out and purchase. The balcony is very spacious and furnished with tables, chairs and a chaise lounge.

We visited in what is a relatively busy time of year. You would never have known it though because complex was very quiet. We rarely heard or saw our neighbors. At times there would be guests using the pool and hot tub, but it was never swamped. Most nights we enjoyed a night cap in the hot tub by ourselves. Parking was abundant in both the covered structure or outside near the condo.

To be fair, I do have one nit pick that I need share. 508 would really benefit from a fresh coat of paint. In absolutely no way was this a distraction or did it interfere with the quality of our stay. It was just noticable and I am trying to be impartial.

If we should ever return to this area, I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else. Why would I? Cape Winds 508 was everything I had hoped for, and then some.

Beautiful Ocean Front Property

This is the perfect location for anyone looking for a beautiful ocean front condo with fantastic views in all directions. The unit was clean and quiet. The views were spectacular, including watching the cruise ships pass by on occasion. You can hear the waves below while enjoying the sights and light ocean breeze.

Wonderful seafood restaurants are nearby. Our favorite restaurants were Milliken's Reef on Port Canaveral and Florida Seafood Bar & Grill down the street from the condo. Also on Port Canaveral is Seafood Atlantic, Inc. where you can buy fresh fish caught daily. We particularly enjoyed buying and cooking Grouper that is not easily found in restaurants.

Cape Winds is very handicap friendly for those with disabilities. Carts were available downstairs by the elevators for bringing luggage and groceries from the car to the unit. Handicap parking is also very accessible.

Cape Canaveral was the perfect location with it's beautiful, quiet beaches and only one hour from Orlando. We highly recommend Drew's condo and hope we have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful location again in the future.

Needs attention and care

My family recently stayed in Drew's apartment. While I feel that Drew is a really nice guy he seems to be disconnected from the property enough to allow the condition and cleanliness of the unit falter.

The apartment has some amazing features. The corner views of the ocean are amazing. The living room is nice and bright. The location of the building is really great.

Where I feel that apartment really falls short is in the lack of regular maintenance and cleaning. The apartment seems to be feeling its age, since its remodel in 2010, with nearly every wall covered in dents and scratches.

What was really hard to live with was that the property was simply not clean. The walls and doors are filthy, the kitchen counters were sticky, the cabinets had dried grease and fingerprints and under the beds and furniture was disgusting. It seems that the property gets a quick wipe but never a good deep clean.

What really sent my wife into orbit is when she found stains and pubic hair on the bed linen and pillow cases.

We really wanted to leave the apartment immediately upon our Saturday night arrival. However, it was difficult to find another property on the weekend when most offices are closed and without notice. When we contacted Drew to voice our concerns it seemed as if he was more concerned about a review that would affect his business than taking care of the problem during our stay.

I really wish our experience with this property was similar to the reviews from others. Unfortunately, it just wasn't.

Awesome with fabulous views in all directions

Just returned home from a fabulous week stay in this unit. The view is outstanding for both sunrise and sunset! The location on the middle part of Cocoa Beach offers an opportunity for a variety of activities within a short walk in either directon. Everything that would be needed for a beach day for any member of your family is already there waiting for your arrival. We have stayed in one of Drew's units previously and will again and again. From the first contact he was very professional and prompt with any questions or requests. This building was quiet and relaxing and very well kept and worth every penny. I highly recommend this unit or any in this building.
