Beautiful 1885 Victorian Terrace
About Jeff Jones
Our family loves the world heritage Blue Mountains. We have prepared the Victorian Terraces so that our guests can enjoy it too. We love bush walks, and trips to Jenolan Caves, Mount Wilson and the many beautiful gardens. We also enjoy reading in front of an open fire and drinking good coffee. We like bike riding especially if there is a good café at the end of the ride. We have over 40 years experience in the Blue Mountains so can advise you on the best walks, lookouts, tourist activities and where to find the local wildlife. We can put you in contact with local adventure specialists that can organise specialist activities given the area has some of the best lookouts, abseiling & canyons in Australia. Living in Mount Victoria with the clean crisp air, friendly neighbours and unbelievably beautiful area is a dream come true.

Amazing! Loved it!
Great place to stay! Host Jeff and Deb were brilliant. We will be back!!
Thanks for taking the time to complete the review. Your parents were so nice. They are the reason why we have spent 8 years developing the terraces.
Mid week getaway
Stunning property. A credit to the owners. A peaceful and relaxing location. Perfect.
Thanks Paul for choosing to stay at the Bank House Mount Victoria and for taking the time to complete such a great review. Having you stay makes all our hard work worthwhile.
Blue Mountains Stylish Comfort
Great location if you are doing Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves.
The rooms are awesomely quirky and space is no issue.
Jeff is a great host and his savory eggs for breakfast are a highlight!
Make sure you also check out the local Mount Victoria look outs off the well trodden path but amazing in their own right.
Great cozy getaway spot
Amazing house, perfect for a winter getaway with a roaring fire.
Will definitely be back!
Fabulous 1920s Stay in the Blue Mountains
My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful stay in our Victorian Terrace. The 1920's decor was beautiful and transported us back in time. All rooms were wonderfully restored but reflected the heritage of the building. It was clean, comfortable and warm (what you need late in autumn in the Blue Mountains!) and only wish we could have stayed longer! Jeff was a wonderful host, happy to assist with any questions and available on site when needed. We will be back for sure!
We appreciate you choosing to stay at the Bank House Mount Victoria and for completing such a great review. We look forward to offering you something special if you ever choose to stay again.
Beautifully Restored Heritage Listed Victorian Building
We stayed here to attend the UltraTrail Australia running event in May, as the property is 20 mins from Scenic World, and located in a quieter area away from the popular areas like Leura and Katoomba. Bank House is a beautifully restored property with central heating (perfect for the chilly Blue Mountains), and modern bathroom and kitchen. Clean property with comfortable bedding. We were travelling late from Sydney and Jeff happily met us at the property at 10pm with a bottle of milk and offer of a fruit basket for the morning.
Just be aware there are quite strict rules for staying:
1. As "The oven is not connected", there is no cooking allowed on the premises. We worked around this by having soups warmed up in the microwave and overnight oats/cold yoghurt & granola for breakfast. There is a coffee machine and kettle available.
2. "This terrace has been designed for up to four adults to enjoy a safe, quiet, restful stay, so no children (0 to 18yrs old) are permitted to stay. Under no circumstances are extra guests permitted on site even to visit guests."
3. "No Smoking"
4. "No Pets"
