We enjoyed our stay but only problem was a lack of towels and bedding for the fold out.
Everything else was beautiful very comfortable
Beautifully quiet property
We had a lovely time relaxing in a lovely house and surrounding far, a great escape from the city. Visited the Mudgee Observatory which is almost next door - it was well worthwhile. Lots to explore in Mudgee and the accommodation was very nice.
Spacious property and big long with open kitchen fantastic for family stay!
Delightful cottage with incredible views
We had a fantastic time at Guneemooroo and would recommend staying. Great sized living spaces, comfortable rooms and an excellent deck. The wine and olive oil from the farm on arrival was a really nice touch.
Only small criticism would be that it could do with some more kitchen equipment (specifically fry pans).
All in all however, it was a brilliant spot!
Robin, many thanks for your review and your suggestions regarding kitchen equipment which we have taken on board. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay - next time be sure to make good use of the woodburner in the living room which only adds to the atmosphere at night. We look forward to welcoming you back. And many thanks for leaving the cottage as clean and tidy as it was on your arrival.
I loved the location and sitting on the verandah watching all the kangaroos and sheep in the morning.
While we had a big storm on the first night and it was extremely windy, the second night we had all the stars out which was a beautiful sight.
The Mudgee Observatory is located just up the road and I would definitely go back to go there and explore more of the area as we didn't have enough time on the weekend
We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. You are right to want to come back and explore more of the wonderful Mudgee Region. If you are a star gazer we can arrange an introduction to John who runs the Mudgee Observatory. Many thanks for booking with us and we look forward to welcoming you back.
Perfect weekend break in the countryside
My friends and I loved staying here. Friendly and generous hosts. Perfect relaxed location for a weekend of visiting the wineries in beautiful Mudgee. Loved the wood burner and sunny breakfasts on the verandah watching the kangaroos go by. Will definitely be coming back.
Dear Leanne, we are delighted that you and your friends enjoyed your stay so much - we really loved having such wonderful and appreciative guests, as did our friendly farm kelpie Rafe! We look forward to welcoming you back at some point in the future. With best wishes, Mark, Stephanie (and Rafe)
