Overview

About the property

a comfy stay in the country pet friendly and family friendly

The 3 bedroom house is fully self contained, within walking distance to the center of town and only a short drive to local attractions.

You can see Ararat's notorious J Ward from the front verandah, with the Pyrenees mountain range in the distance.

The house is fully fenced, making it ideal for pets and children, with an undercover outdoor area out the back where you can sit, eat and enjoy your days and evenings. There is a Barbeque that you are very welcome to use.

The house has 2 queen and 2 single beds, perfect for a family or a group of friends wanting to explore the region. We do have the option of an extra double bed if required.

All linen and towels are supplied.

All facilities are available to you as our guest, and we are happy to source local information to help you best plan your stay.

To wet your appetite for the area here are but a few ideas;

Ararat JWard and Aradale Lunatic Asylum are both open to the public for tours - Aradale also has Ghost tours available for those who dare. We have excellent feedback about both these tours and they come highly recommended.

Great Western, where Seppelts has a winery is only about 20kms up the road but you can start there on a wine tour through some if the best boutique wineries in Australia.

You can start your Great Ocean Road adventure from Ararat, eating your way through to either Warnambool or Portland.

You can visit Halls Gap and start your exploration of the majestic Grampians and all this region has to offer.

Or you can break your drive to Adelaide.....

Suited our needs for the night. It is on the main road with lots of truck traffic.

Great Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a very comfortable stay here, close to all ammenities and Sue was very helpful. Enclosed yard was great for the dog, and the people in the area very friendly. Only a short 30min drive to the Grampians, and plenty to see in town. Excellent, thanks Sue.

Beautiful relaxing property

My hubby, children and myself had a great time away staying at your house. It has everything we needed. It was so relaxing, spacious and just a stones throw away from the Main Street.
