THINGS TO DO:
Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast gives you the opportunity to enjoy the diverse bush-to-beach landscape at your own leisure.
The deck at Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast is the perfect place to start your day watching the sun rise and the perfect place to finish your day watching the sun set over the bay. During the day kick back and enjoy a BBQ with a view.
Relax and enjoy the sun on Jibbon Beach itself or go for a swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters at Jibbon Beach and nearby Gunyah Beach, Horderns Beach or Bonnie Vale. The water is also idyllic for some fun on kayaks and stand-up paddle boards.
Explore the numerous bush tracks and coastal tracks in the Royal National Park which all offer stunning views of the ocean, Hacking River or native bushland. You can see the humpback whales during migration season between May – November and dolphins along the coastal tracks. You can also see native wildlife and many bird species such as ospreys and sea eagles that frequent the area along the bush tracks. From Jibbon Beach Bed & Breakfast you can walk to some of the most iconic landmarks in the Royal National Park including Wedding Cake Rock, the Figure 8 Pools and Eagle Rock.
Wander the Bundeena Maianbar Art Trial and the Bundeena Saltwater Markets on the first Sunday of every month to see the work of local Bundeena and Maianbar artists.
From Jibbon Beach you can walk along a short path to one of the best preserved Aboriginal rock art sites in Sydney. Jibbon headland was once home to the Dharawal people. Now, you can see their Aboriginal rock carvings which date back over a thousand years from a viewing platform at Jibbon headland.
Enjoy the picturesque Port Hacking River on a Scenic Cruise or take a ferry ride to Cronulla for some afternoon drinks.
There are many bike trails in the Royal National Park. After a scenic and leisurely cycle along Lady Carrington Drive or a more challenging cycle along the diverse terrain on Loftus Loop Trail, stop off at the Weir Café for a bite to eat or unroll a blanket for a picnic lunch at Audley picnic grounds.
You can also eat out at one of Bundeena’s local cafes or at the Bowling Club (please note that the RSL is currently closed to due to fire damage).

Great B&B and thoughtful, friendly host
Jadranka is a wonderful host. Very helpful and welcoming. She even texted a few days before our arrival asking for our preference of milk and bread which I thought was very thoughtful. After our arrival, she showed us where everything was stored and told us to simply let her know if we needed anything - other than that we had total privacy.
The place itself is right on the beach and is clean, organised and has everything you need - including an outdoor bbq. There's shampoo and body wash supplied in case you forget, as well as towels for the beach. Breakfast cereal, eggs, toast and choice of condiments were supplied as well as extras such as orange juice and a couple of beers and chocolate (for afternoons on the balcony). I would highly recommend staying here, it's a great little spot and Jadranka is a wonderful host.
Right on the beach, beautiful bed linen and very comfortable bed, beach is stunning, love our little break
We stayed for two nights and wished we'd stayed longer. Compact but beautifully designed and equipped with a lovely spacious deck right on the beach, this is a place we will return to. Jadranka was wonderful and helpful but left you to your own privacy. Cereals, condiments, fruit, eggs, bread, milk and more were provided. The queen bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels all top quality. Great walk-in shower, TV, BBQ, dishwasher, etc all top hotel standard and easy to use. With your own gate off the decking onto the beach, it was idyllic. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
jadranka and her family are so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. We were even offered home made Easter cakes and treats, so lovely. The accommodation, whilst attached to the family home, has its own access and is very private. The terrace is huge and a real bonus. It makes the place really. Has its own hot and cold shower for when you walk off the beach, only metres away. Amenities inside the room are perfect, well thought out given the space. BBQ outside is the way to go, there's so much terrace! Bathroom is great and well set out. Very comfy bed. It's all just great! Whilst being so close to Sydney you feel miles away and the little suburb of bundeena is extremely friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful view, quiet location right on the beach
We had 3 gorgeous days here. Walk out the gate right onto the beautiful sandy beach for a swim in the clear blue water. Immaculately presented, lovely bathroom and shower, comfy bed and well equipped kitchenette. Microwave no cooktop but we BBQ'd 2 meals and ate outside. It is a very small room (no lounge) but we had a great break. Caught the ferry to Cronulla for lunch one day. Very warm and welcoming hosts. Nothing a bother. Will go back for sure.
Little gem close to Sydney
Jadanka is very warm and welcoming, and the provisions were very generous. Location: magnificent; experience: very relaxing - we felt we had been away for a lot longer than the three nights we spent. Definitely plan to return; couldn't believe we were so close to Sydney - just a 55 minute drive to Sydney airport on the Monday morning!
