Bonnie Doon - Paradox Views

Fantastic place to stay. Beautiful setting with amazing views on either side of the house. The fireplace warmed the house and was great when outside temp was 8-9 degrees. Large table for meals and games. Plus tv/dvd for a movie if needed. We had a great time.

Get lost in the views

  • 5 of 5

Only weeks after visiting with my partner, i decided to take a girlfriend here for some time away together. Again we were not disappointed. We had amazing winter sun and couldn't decide which view to admire while baking in the sun, so we kept swapping. Nights were cold and the fire kept us cosy. We watched mobs of roo skip across the vista, a wombat slowly amble up a hill top , echidna's and kookaburra's and the warble of the magpie reminded you to listen and look and soak it up. My dog was exhausted every night after long bush walks on the property.

Secluded, peaceful, comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We loved our three days here. It was cold outside but the heater warmed the whole house and we were left more than enough firewood (other houses I have been told to buy our own). The beds were comfortable, the kitchen has all you need to make lovely meals. I loved the seclusion the most, being able to walk the 1 klm down the drive way and back up with the dog was how i started the day. My dog loved it, chasing roo, smelling the scent of animals and with enough land to not need to wander. Good sized TV for movies at night, comfy couches and a lovely long dining table. The view is breathtaking and I never got sick of it. It was no effort to tidy the house up at end of stay, slate floors great for dirty dog feet, just sweep, a kitchen that isn't cluttered and a nice big fridge. Thank you. This is a perfect house for us.
