About the property

This is a classic 1920's Gentleman's Bungaulow sitting on a beautiful, quiet tree lined avenue in one of Adelaides best city fringe suburbs. 10 min drive straight along Prospect road to the CBD where you will past the new Adelaide oval, the zoo, women's and children's Hospital, the festive theater/ Casio. The area is surrounded by parks and playgrounds and at the end of the street is the main shpping village where you will find coles and a fabulous cafe/ restaurant culture. Its all within walking distance.

This beautiful 1920s Gentleman's Bungalow is so typical to Adelaide architecture. Its full of character inc. high ceilings, lead lighting, tiled fire place( not functional ). This is a maisonette (two houses under one main roof). The main bedroom has a queen and a double bed. The second bedroom has a double with a single bunk over it and a standard single bunk sleeping up to 9 people.

Pet friendly with a small side yard surrounded by high fences, also the front yard is surrounded by a 1920's heritage fence, so your pets have double security.

There is a lovely undercover entertaining area with BBQ facilities overlooking the Avenue. Parking is off-street directly in front of the accommodation. If your bringing the kids there is a magnificent newly built playground behind the tennis courts on the avenue and an oval for the kids and your doggie to run or kick a ball.

Excellent property, great location

We come over from KI and have stayed here several times and each time the house has been presented beautifully.

The house is always really clean and the gardens a pleasure to look at.

Shelley is always very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

The location has everything we need within a very short distance.

It's very well appointed and having a bbq in the beautiful gardens is delightful

We will definitely stay here again hopefully with a new puppy in the New Year.

Perfect for all of us

Was a fabulous place for peace, quiet locale and a park 2 minutes away to walk the dogs. Shopping a short walk as well and a couple of great coffee shops. Brilliant all over. The bungalow great!

Impressive in so many ways

Three adults and Crosby, our dog recently stayed at this impressive property.

The house is a treat to look at and the well - manicured front gardens were secured by a lovely heritage - style fence. Crosby enjoyed wandering through these and along a gated side - of - house area; we were confident she was safe when in either.

Inside, two large televisions were affixed to the lounge and bedroom walls, reminding us of home. Furniture was fine and wing seats were very comfortable when reading. An original large, feature mirror complemented the lounge's original high ceiling.

Massive but comfortable rainwater tanks were a reassuring sign that should the Murray River fail, residents of this property would still be okay.

A great location and classy neighbourhood which is easy to access different parts of metropolitan Adelaide from. More importantly, extremely clean and well - maintained, a pleasure to return to at day's end.

Further, can't fault owner Shelley's positive attitude. Shelley promptly responded to phone calls and texts when we had questions. Overall, highly recommended.

Lovely pet friendly property in a great location

The house is lovely, in a great location and was very clean and welcoming. Just a short walk from the restaurants, cafes and supermarket. Shell was very inviting and welcomed us with champagne and chocolate. My family and I and our dog really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for a wonderful experience in Adelaide.

Well Located and Pleasant Property

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The owner was very accommodating to us and thought of all the 'extra' stuff (ie a small Christmas tree and presents for my two children plus a bag of age appropriate toys for them to play with while we stayed). The off road parking was great but there was also room out the front for other cars. the property while small was quite large enough for 4 of us and the bedding configuration allowed for further people to stay if needed making it quite economical. Any issues I had (eg wanting the air conditioning turned on) Shell addressed immediately which I appreciated. The large enclosed yard also made it a great property for children. The close proximity to the city and restaurants and a Coles at the end of the road helped make it a great location. Thanks so much Shell, we really enjoyed our stay
