Spotless and in brilliant position.
The flat was spotless. It was close to lots of bars and restaurants. At end of road was the harbour for dolphin tour cruise.

great property with good location
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property.has a great location close to the shops and transportation. Quiet place as well.
The Unit provides everything you require while on holiday, it is so close to beautiful eateries, shopping, market, activities and train transport. The Security is fabulous and there is plenty of free parking outside the door or secure parking across the road. A very interesting and intriguing unit in a lovely heritage area. Bookings and payments easy and stress free. A great place to stay :)
Charged for damage we didn't make
My brother and I stayed in this property while making the trip to Adelaide to be at my brothers graduation from the Police Force. It was a tidy establishment that met our needs.
It has an underground area where the two double beds are located, which was quite musty and had poor air circulation. The upstairs beds are located in a loft which you access from a ladder. This is all fine and well. However where I have an issue is with the return of our bond. The Hostess claims that we made a stain on the floor in the downstairs area close to the bottom of the stairs going in to the bedroom area. My brother and I noticed this stain when we arrived but thought nothing of it. We didn't take any food or tea/coffee downstairs, and only drink that was taken downstairs was my water bottle. We were charged $70 from our bond to have it professionally cleaned. I mentioned that it wasn't us to the hostess but we were still charged the amount.
If you are going to stay at this establishment take photos of any stains and damage on arrival and make a condition report as evidence, as you will most likely be charged for it even if you didn't make the damage.

These marks were not noticed by either representatives prior to you staying at the property. We do not take the matter lightly in regards to NOT refunding the bond back to our guest’s. Characterful Digs in old Port Adelaide
1/87 Lipson Street had everything I needed - with a large dose of quirky and characterful thrown in (much better than a boring standard motel room!). It was very well fitted out and comfortable and within easy walking distance of local supermarkets, shops, eateries and pubs, with plenty of free on street parking (or free secure parking if you prefer to use that option) in a quiet neighbourhood on the edge of the Port Adelaide Heritage area. It was also very painfree to get around Adelaide from the Port - after Sydney and Melbourne, driving times in Adelaide are great!!

Port Adelaide is home to the Port Adelaide Football Club, an Australian rules football team. Its headquarters and training facility and home ground for South Australian National Football League (SANFL) games is Alberton Oval. Founded in 1870, the club has competed in the SANFL from 1877 until 1996, and in the Australian Football League AFL since 1997. The club was awarded the second AFL licence in South Australia in doing so becoming the only pre-existing non-Victorian club to gain entry into the competition. It had won 34 SANFL Premierships before its move to the AFL. The club is still represented by its reserves team in the SANFL.
