Enjoy a relaxing stay at Beach Side Avenue McCrae, one of the best kept secrets on the Mornington Peninsula. Experience the best of lifestyles and enjoy the most beautiful beaches, without all the tourists. Wander along the foreshore and if you’ve bought along your pup it’s only a short walk to the doggy beach.

We are pet friendly. We accept house trained non chewing pets, but please let us know if you intend to bring your furry mate, and remember to bring their towel and bedding. Pet bedding is NOT to be washed in the washing machine.

There’s plenty of fine food and beverages to be found close by in the McCrae cafe precinct. If you feel like spending the evening at home, relax in either private courtyards, pour yourself a cooling beverage, perhaps a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or a glass of beer from the Red Hill Brewery and cook yourself a delicious dinner on the electric bbq.

The booking for a couple gives you access to one bedroom. The second bedroom is locked and only available when the booking is for 3 or more guests at an additional cost per person. The townhouse is for your exclusive use during your stay.

Beach Side Avenue is tastefully decorated and oozes beachy personality. This very private townhouse is a little treasure with its sense of light, space and fun. This space is for couples and pets and is not suitable for children.

Beach Side Avenue could easily become your favourite holiday destination.

With a supermarket close by and all the offerings of culinary delights renown on the Peninsula, pack lightly and make your getaway easy. We all know the holiday begins as soon as you hop in the car and head off for your destination. Linen, hairdryer and basic toiletries are also supplied for your convenience. All rooms have air conditioning to beat the summer heat and there is also heating for those cooler months.

Your kitchen comes well equipped and includes tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper and some other basic condiments.

Mornington Peninsula Is on magazine National Geographics must do list. And what a list it is !!!! Restaurants, beaches, swimming, beach combing, snorkeling, diving, surfing, fishing, shopping, markets, National Parks, scenic walks and drives, horse riding, diving, paddle boarding, boating, golf, the Drive In, wineries, boutique breweries, tree surfing, racing, art galleries, hot springs, the Queens Cliff ferry, wild life and yes there's more!!!

What to expect at your doorstep

Beach Side is perfectly on a large block at the end of a private treed cul de sac so it's such a bonus that everything is close by....the beach, cafes restaurants, entertainment, supermarkets, bike and walking tracks...and this is all under or within a 5 minutes walk. Then you can hop in your car... or hire a limo...and explore wineries, national parks galleries, surf beaches, the hot springs...and this all under and within 20 minutes ! The townhouse itself is set up with many amenities to help make your stay more pleasurable. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a dish washer drawer. The interior has a fresh beachy feel and tastefully furnished and decorated.

It's only 100 meters to catch the Portsea bus so you can leave your car at home. It's also the same distance to the foreshore where you can ride or walk along the tracks.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay only down side was no toilet downstairs, and having arthritis it was a tad difficult. Unit was extremely clean and fitted out well with tea, coffee, and all sorts of condiments. We would highly recommend this property to anyone a nice quiet a relaxing beach stay. Lizzy could not have done anymore to make us feel at home.

Fabulous property

Excellent position. Very close to shops, beautiful beach and walks to Rosebud, Rye & Dromana. Bus stops close by. Lovely clean, light filled, secure pet friendly property with a nice beachy yet homely feel. Lots of extras supplied such as throw rugs, toiletries, tea, coffee and condiments. Owner Lizzy very quick to respond to any questions and help if needed. All in all a lovely stay and hope to return again.

PERFECT

My daughter, our Furbaby and myself were absolutely delighted by our stay at Beach Side Avenue. It was so well appointed - everything we needed was supplied. It was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. A short drive had us in the main shopping precinct and the local fish and chip shop near Safeway is a firm favourite upon our return. Our accomodation was literally over the road from the beach which was amazing - no seaweed or rocks Perfect !! It was probably a 5 minute walk to the beach from our accomodation and our dog was allowed in the water at this time of year. We did all the touristy things - The Eagle Chairlift, Flinders Chocolates, Portsea, Point Nepean Market all an easy drive from where we were staying.We had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to stay at Beach Side Avenue again. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Hideaway

A very clean and tidy pet friendly unit with everything you could need to enjoy your stay at the beach. Set at the back of a treed block of units with offstreet parking and only 200 metres from the beach. A small shopping centre with Coles and a few nice cafes and restaurants all within an easy stroll. McCrae beach is beautiful and clean and dog friendly within certain hours.

Pleasant surprise

Throughly enjoyed our stay. Great location, quiet and very relaxing. The unit is thoughtfully decked out with all the home comforts. Very comfortable bed. The townhouse is tastefully furnished and bedding and towels are of a good quality. Lizzy, the owner is very obliging and responds quickly to any questions. Would highly recommend and I will be back.
