About the property

A luxury home-stay experience with a prize winning garden.

Come and stay with us in one of Adelaide's most beautiful suburbs; a short distance from the city and get the benefit of local knowledge, a safe environment, warmth and hospitality from people who genuinely care about their guest's travel experiences.

Wake up to the sound of kookaburras and if you are lucky get to feed one on our balcony or spot a koala in the tree next door and just a 10 minute drive from the heart of Adelaide.

A beautiful prize winning garden with access to an adjoining park with a creek, walking paths, diverse wildlife including koalas, frogs, kookaburras, owls and heron.

10 minute drive from Adelaide but feels like the hills.

Fresh flowers, welcome bowl of fruit, robes and complimentary slippers provided.

Whether you’re coming for a relaxing weekend, a few days sightseeing or a tour of the wineries, this location is perfect. Two charming furnished bedrooms, (one queen size and one double bed) on the lower ground floor. They enjoy views of our beautiful garden which backs on to the magical Michael Perry Reserve which has diverse wildlife including koalas, frogs, kookaburras, owls and heron.

You have the lower floor of our two storey home and your rooms are quiet and private. In winter you'll be warm and comfy with electric blankets and feather quilts. Privacy is ensured with your own living room, bathroom with bath and shower and separate toilet. Ducted heating and cooling throughout the house.

A generous continental breakfast is included and if you have any particular favourites, please let us know and we will try to get them for you. You have your own fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and pod machine to enable you to have breakfast or a cup of tea or coffee (or hot chocolate) whenever you feel like it.

We enjoy meeting fellow travellers and love our home city, so we are happy to chat with you and provide local information or solve the problems of the world over a glass of wine or breakfast. On the other hand, we will also respect your privacy and leave you to relax in peace.

We have a very friendly Burmese cat called Indy.

The Neighbourhood

Nestled where the plains meet the hills, a perfect location for any visit to Adelaide.

A short walk from the famous Penfold winery, home of Grange and the fabulous Magill Estate restaurant. 10-15 mins drive to the city and 10 mins to the foothills.

There are two bus services close by. They both go to the heart of downtown Adelaide and take about 20 mins. By car we are approx 10-15 minutes from the city and the Adelaide airport is about 20 minutes. Taxi from our home to the city is approx $20 and to the airport is approx $40.

Burnside is one of the nicest residential areas in Adelaide, filled with large lovely homes and pretty gardens. It has approximately 3 km² of its area dedicated to Parks and Reserves, the result being one of the greenest areas in Adelaide.

Burnside is a very safe neighbourhood and close to the famous Penfolds Magill Estate, (recently named South Australia's best restaurant by the Australian Financial Review).

Burnside Village and Norwood Parade and known for great shopping and restaurants

.

South Australia is well known for its wine and food and it’s easy to visit four of our main wine areas: the Barossa Valley, Clare Valley, McLaren Vale, and the Adelaide Hills.

Return visit - delightful oasis

  • 5 of 5

We returned to Willowbridge again this year for the TDU week. It was very hot (over 40) every day and lovely to return to the cool and calm of Willowbridge. The garden setting is amazing - so beautiful and quiet while not being far from town. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, stylish, private and very comfortable for the 3 of us. We also enjoyed the company of Indy the lovely Burmese cat. Pam and Brian are great hosts providing us with space for our bikes and equipment and cool packs etc for our picnic. I just love the ambience, location and comfort of this really good quality BnB. We look forward to returning again next year.

Amazing B&B experience!

  • 5 of 5

Hosts Pam and Brian have an excellent B&B set up. The guest area is very private, and the hosts go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Location was great, not far from the city and very quiet. Highly recommended.

Just as perfect as can be

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I stayed with Pam and Brian in November and we were very reluctant to leave! The quality of the accommodation was second to none and together with the garden and proximity to walking tracks and to city, suited us. We stay at many house rentals and as we drive away, we always decide whether we would stay there again, and there was no doubt that we would stay again and recommend Willowbridge B n B to others. Brian and Pam were delightful hosts and we wish them well with their business venture and hope future guests enjoy all that this accommodation has to offer. Overview of property on website is very true in all areas and we even saw koalas and much birdlife in this very leafy, natural and beautiful suburb.

Paradise Found!

  • 5 of 5

Very comfortable home, surrounded by trees and birdsong. We two senior ladies could not have been happier with our accommodation, and appreciated the extra touches provided by Pam and Brian...fruit bowls, fresh flowers, breakfast provisions tailored to individual preferences. 11 out of 10!

We used local bus for transport, a car would provide even greater scope for exploration, but we had no problems.

Amazing property

  • 5 of 5

We planned to stay 3 nights but ended up staying 4. We loved it. The facilities were second to none. The beds (OMG) were so comfortable I slept better than I did at home. Central location to so many great sight-seeing spots. We have recommended it to our friends when they visit Adelaide.
