Perfect

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely loved the location of our accommodation. We had a lovely time sunning ourselves in the afternoon with a glass of wine on the park bench out the back and enjoying the view. Pizza oven was great for a quick dinner and we all enjoyed the warmth of the fireplace and making s'mores. Highly recommend and can't wait to make a return visit.

Very comfortable home on a beautiful hillside property a short drive from Mudgee

  • 4 of 5

Highly recommend this property as a quiet and private country home.Three bedrooms with very comfortable beds and great air conditioning plus fans.Small but functional kitchen and small living room/dining room but very comfortable for 4 guests .No wifi was a small issue but there are free WiFi sites in Mudgee.Alistar was very easy to deal with and responded quickly to all inquiries. Will stay again if we return to Mudgee.

The property is quite close to Mudgee and next door to a winery. For adults it is ideal.

  • 4 of 5

The property is lovely but shop for food before you stay. Not much for my 2 grandsons to do but they did enjoy running up the driveway to open the 2 gates. The weather was lovely so we didn't need to use the air conditioning or fire. The beds we used were very comfy and the place was cleen.

Peaceful with a beautiful view

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful slice of heaven. Nestled on the slopes of Mt Frome with wonderful views over Mudgee and the hills beyond, this place made you never want to leave. 3 spacious bedrooms, great bathrooms and well equipped kitchen set us up for our short stay. But the highlight for us (and where we spent most of our time) was the patio. Kangaroos bounding through the fields and coming in for a feed were another highlight. Mudgee itself has plenty to offer - but we were quite happy just spending most of the days sipping wine and enjoying this place.

Cudgemon Homestead in December

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 3 nights during hot weather. It was lovely, the property is in very good condition, very well equipped and everything worked - we even used the pizza oven! The air conditioning was excellent. The beds in the main rooms were really good and comfortable but I was informed the double in the family room was not so comfortable. The shower rooms were all really well appointed.

The views from the property are fantastic with the bonus of being a great wine area.

Owner's Response: The matress in the Family 3rd room is firm but good Quality. The new mattress in bedroom is softer for your next visit. Regards Alastair
