We are a retired couple who live in Perth. We never tire of travelling down to Busselton to enjoy the great lifestyle this region has to offer.
Margaret Lewis purchased this house in 2002
We purchased the property to provide us with an escape from a busy city life. We also get great pleasure seeing our children and grandchildren enjoy and build memories of wonderful family holidays at Busseltonia.
With high ceilings, wooden floorboards, character doors and windows, this lovely little home has much character and charm. We have decorated in an eclectic range of vintage and modern with interesting prints and a great range of books on the bookshelf. The slow combustion wood heater will keep you cosy in winter and two reverse cycle air conditioning units, cool in the summer. Pretty gardens at the front and back compliment the house. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of condiments in the Dutch dresser. Roses and veggies from the garden can be picked for your use.
We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to other families. We spent 4 nights, two with our grown up son and his wife and dog and the last two nights as a couple. As there was only two of us and taking own linen, no dishwasher and also having to clean the premises on leaving we thought the price of over $1000 was high.
A perfect little house with a pretty garden and everything you need to make a comfortable stay. So homely with all your lovely things. Thank you.
Busseltonia is a beautiful cottage, which took me back in time..... just loved the warm feel of the place. Perfect location, within walking distance to the beach, parks and shopping/restaurant streets. Phoebe's our golden retriever settled in straight away - it was like home from home.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, short walk to the beach and shops. House was kitted out very well and didn't want for anything. Planning on coming back once the airport is upgraded and we can come direct from Sydney.
This house is as beautiful in reality as it is in the photos. The house was immaculate and homey. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Close to shops, the town center and famous jetty. Our furbaby loved the grassed oval over the road which was great for Frisbee and also loved laying in front of the wood burning stove. We enjoyed our break away from the city, will definitely book again.
Our stay at Busseltonia was great, like staying at relatives (the nice ones) when they're not home. We also really appreciated our dog being able to come along. So many parks close by and a dog friendly beach. Thanks for such a lovely home.
